@sciencebase "As a matter of fact, it's all dark".
@sciencebase Know any songs with 'gibbous' in its lyrics? There really should be, but I don't.
@sciencebase Yes, esp lower down.
@sciencebase It is mind-numbingly bad. I offer only P Harum's 'Something Magic' as something worse.
@sciencebase Ours has grown into the gas fire flue. I can't imagine how that would have coloured your composition.
@sciencebase I'm afraid we did it at junior school. I had to sing in it.
@sciencebase Just heard it streaming. I though Blackmore must have got it from somewhere, not just trying to impress Ms Knight with his pointy hat. Urrgh.
@sciencebase I realise I really meant 'Shades of.....' rather than 'Hush' alone. I've never heard 'Book of Taliesin' though. May have to think about it...
@sciencebase I can hear 'Hush' and oddly much later with Tommy Bolin rather than Blackmore. No keyboards a bit unusual for then.
@sciencebase I've got it on right now. They're nowt like Deep Purple either.
@sciencebase Budgie's 'In for the Kill' album would fit.
@freemo Once they had clocks that kept the time at home, they could tell their longitude at midday.
@freemo Yup. They looked different depending on where you were somehow and almanacks
were made to refer to. From a ship at sea before decent clocks were available.
@freemo Incredible how sailors used the moons to find longitude with such primitive kit, ain't it.
