@trinsec@qoto.social. I did take some time offline this afternoon. Splitting firewood. Filled all my boxes. I use banana boxes because they are easy to stack and keep it clean and neat. They have handles.

Oh yeah, banana boxes are a nice size for such a thing. ;)
Is it still fairly cold over there? It looks like here in Europe spring already has begun.
@trinsec This is looking east. You can't see the back of the clearing because it curves. I own to the back. It's 10 acres. That with a ratty (literally)old mobile home was $40,000 when I bought it. This clearing didn't exist when I bought it. I have cleared about 2 acres and cleaned out the woods a bit so you can walk in them.
Rodents are all gone with three cats. I have one small cat who is voracious. Snakes too. I saw him take on a water moccasin down by the cesspool. I had a lot of frogs and that's why the water moccasin moved in. But these woods usually have a lot of copperheads, but he eats them. All I see are parts he does not eat.
Our weather will be cold a few times. But usually not below about -12C. That -23C with 40 mph wind was terrible. -40C chill factor. I never want that again.
