28-year-old senior sergeant Oleksiy Mazur died on June 8, 2023, during the evacuation of wounded comrades in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Oleksiy was born in Vinnytsia. Lived in Kyiv. Graduated from the Kyiv University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, majoring in Civil Engineering. Loved cycling, running, jiu-jitsu, hiking, Lord of the Rings books and good food.

Since 2015, the man has been fighting in the ATO/OOS in the ranks of the "Azov" regiment. He was a paramedic of the department of collection and evacuation of the wounded of the medical company.

In March 2023, the man got married, and three months later he died.

💭"Aleksii was an experienced and talented paramedic. Always learned new things, developed and shared his knowledge with others. He was brave, honest and fair. He always helped everyone," said Ilona's wife.

At home, his mother and wife were waiting for Oleksiy.

This is what $600 worth of logs looks like. These were all too small for the mills but mixed with the big ones so they got cut. And some are hickory which the mills can't use. But I love hickory. Not good in a fireplace but great in an enclosed wood stove. It pops a lot, throwing out embers.

I am still here in Branson. It seems I either chipped a bone or whatever I stepped on snapped off inside my foot. they wanted to do an MRI today but it seems there were scheduling difficulties.
