lives on 10 acres in a sparsely populated area of the Ozarks. I heat with wood that is leftover by the lumber industry. When cutting oak for lumber only the trunk is used.

Good morning Resisters. A rainy day in the Ozarks. I am laying in bed with the electric blanket on, dining on a 99 cent pepperoni pizza.

Good morning Resisters. Drinking mint flavor coffee this morning. They had it on clearance in Aldi Finds for $2.99. Turned out to be good quality coffee with just a hint of mint.

Good morning Resisters. It's up to 15⁰ here. By Tuesday the low should be in the 20s with the high in the 40s.
Good Afternoon. Today is the second day of a 2 day warmup. Daytime temperature above freezing. Yesterday did a lot of chores. Today I went shopping. Good thing I have about a dozen pizzas in the freezer. They were completely out. These are the pizzas that weigh 19 ounces and cost 99 cents. But they had coke. Bought 3 cases of diet coke plus all the fixins for chili. The large batch using two pounds of meat.
