Sofia Kryachko, together with her mother Natalya and father Dmytro, lived in Lyman, in the Donetsk region.
When the full-scale invasion began, the family remained in their hometown.
During the shelling, they went down to the basement, which was located in the yard.
2-3 weeks before her death, Sofia began to use black or dark shades more often in her drawings. Grandma was surprised, because Sonia always painted in bright colors.
On May 23, 2022, enemy missiles hit the family's yard. Sonya and her mother collapsed in the basement where they were hiding. They died in hospital.
Dad was away on a visit at the time of the shelling, so he was saved. But he could not survive the loss and after a few months he hanged himself in the destroyed house. And a few months later, the heart of his father Oleksiy stopped...

From the Freedom of Russia Legion:
We are not fighting “against”. We fight for. For our families, for children, for peace, for the future, for freedom.
And, of course, for love. Therefore, today we cannot help but congratulate our brother in arms “Vita” on his wedding!
Just recently, “Vit” was wounded in the Bakhmut direction. But not only is he successfully undergoing treatment and rehabilitation, but today he is celebrating the creation of his family. Let life continue to conquer death, and light - darkness.
Congratulations brother! Happy married life! 💙🤍💙

⚫ While the rest of the world sends condolences for the demise of Raisi and Amirabdollahian, WE, the Iranian people, are dancing in the streets, popping champagne, and sharing sweets like it's Nowruz! Why? Because these weren't leaders, they were terrorists who terrorized our nation, stole our livelihoods, and murdered our loved ones.
Butcher Raisi has the blood of countless innocents on his hands. Liar Amirabdollahian spun webs of deceiton the global stage, grinning like a Cheshire Cat as he peddled the regime's propaganda.
So yeah, we're celebrating. This is what liberation feels like, even if it's just a taste. The world might not understand, but we do. We celebrate the fall of our oppressors. We celebrate the hope of a brighter future. This is our moment, and we're taking it!
