During today's exchange, a military man who could have worked with the Russians returned. This was stated by former prisoner Viktor “Leleka” Lakhno.

According to him, it is Maksym Bobylev. He allegedly cooperated with the administration of the colony where the prisoners were held and was involved in the beating of Azov fighters.

According to Lakhno, Bobylev also renounced his Ukrainian citizenship and wanted to obtain a Russian passport.

The 35th Separate Marine Brigade assured that they were checking information about one of their soldiers' cooperation with the Russians. The DIU noted that they always work with law enforcement agencies on all returned soldiers.

Bakota, Khmelnytskyi Oblast🇺🇦

Bakota was a major ancient Ukrainian city that served as the capital of the Dniester Lowlands in the 12th-13th centuries. During the Kyivan Rus period, it functioned as a trading port on the Dniester River.

The city’s history came to an end in 1981 when, during the construction of the Novodnistrovsk Hydroelectric Power Plant by Soviet authorities, Bakota was completely submerged.

The price of the created reservoir was the destruction of around 30 villages, 16,000 hectares of fertile land, 100 hectares of forest, and, most importantly, the unique centuries-old cultural heritage of the region. All of this was swallowed by the great water. But even now, submerged in the waters of the Dniester, Bakota retains its allure and mystery.
