Drones+missiles: The destruction of the Novoshakhtyn Oil Refinery was a joint operation of the SBU and the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Tonight, the Security Service of Ukraine, together with the Navy, carried out a combined attack on the Novoshakhtynsky oil products plant in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation.
According to sources, the SBU drones first overwhelmed the Russian air defense system protecting the plant. This created a “window of opportunity” for the operation of Ukrainian jet missiles, which the SBU and the Navy jointly worked out in the next stage.
As a result of the attack on the refinery, a large-scale fire broke out. The video shows many sources of ignition over a large area.
The ELOU-AVT-2.5 installation, which is designed to produce liquefied hydrocarbon gases, was also hit. Preliminary information confirms that the joint operation of the SBU and the Navy caused significant damage to the production facilities of the enterprise.
"Today's special operation was carried out using unmanned aerial vehicles and missiles of Ukrainian production. This once again proves the effectiveness and power of Ukrainian weapons. Including its ability to destroy enemy logistics that are working for the war in Ukraine," an informed source in the SBU reported.
The UN General Assembly passed a resolution on human rights in occupied territories of Ukraine, for the first time calling Russia’s actions a “war of aggression against Ukraine.”
81 countries supported it, 80 abstained, and 14, including Russia, Belarus, China, and Iran, opposed.

"Stop speculating, from any capital of the world, about the possible loss of Ukraine, it has nothing to do with the facts," - Donald Tusk, Prime Minister of Poland during his meeting with President Zelensky in Lviv today.
"I am convinced that more and more people in the world understand that this is the mission of every civilized nation today to support Ukraine in this heroic battle," the PM said.
"Today, Poland and Ukraine are united by a common geopolitical interest, but also by such a deep sense of justice," he added.
"We all have to support Ukraine at this moment more than ever before, so that the peace we are all waiting for – no one wants peace more than Ukraine, we know it; and in the EU no one wants peace more than Poland, for similar reasons.", Tusk said.
