In Zaporizhzhia, the occupiers destroyed the St. Andrew’s Cathedral of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP).
Currently, 10 people are reported injured in the attack. The fate of three others remains unknown. Emergency rescue operations are ongoing.

The Coordination Headquarters reported that severely ill and wounded Ukrainians have returned home.
The released individuals suffer from vision loss, limb amputations, severe gunshot wounds, and the effects of blast injuries. Among the illnesses are tuberculosis, cancer, and gangrene. The Coordination Headquarters emphasizes that this reflects the conditions in which they were held in Russia.

In Vyborg, Russia, a warehouse belonging to a fund providing aid for “participants of the special military operation” burned down, with losses estimated at 1.7 million rubles
The warehouse contained construction materials for bunkers, armor sets, tactical headsets, clothing, and other equipment.
Preliminary reports suggest the fire was caused by arson. On January 9th, the warehouse was completely destroyed by the blaze.

Update: The number of people so far encountered dead is believed to have increased to 4 (three women and one man). Five people have so far been encountered wounded, three of them in a serious condition.
🕯A Day of Mourning for the victims of the attack will be declared in the city on Monday, January 20.
🇭🇺 Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has urged Brussels to abandon sanctions and restore relations with Russia, highlighting Hungary’s contributions during its previous EU presidency.
“It is time to throw sanctions out the window and establish sanctions-free relations with Russia,” Orbán stated.
He expressed confidence that, over time, Brussels would “sober up,” describing the current situation as a “binge.”
