Good morning. It didn't get as cold as the weather witch doctors predicted. At 6 when I got up to refill the wood stove it was 21⁰F. That ought to throw off all the gradual warmup predictions and even the ones for the second cold front later in the week. It was supposed to be 15⁰

Good morning to the warriors of Ukraine. Slava Heroiam.

Well, it's a good thing I spent the afternoon splitting wood. We are getting 6 to 12 inches of snow tomorrow with more this next weekend. And no warm days to split more. I have about 20 banana boxes of firewood in the shed if I run low. And 11 boxes in the house. That's a week worth.

That's what I started the season with. Two tiers. I stacked the second so high you can't see the first one. It's only 6 feet high.
