23-year-old Ihor Pavlenok died on July 8, 2024 in Kyiv. That day, a Russian missile hit near his workplace.
Ihor was born in Severodonetsk, in the Luhansk region. From childhood he was responsible, open and non-conflicting. He had many friends and acquaintances.
In 2014, the boy lost his father, the man was killed during enemy shelling of his hometown.
After school, Ihor graduated from the Monastery Spiritual and Vocational School named after John Damascene. He acquired the profession of a cook. Subsequently, he continued his studies at the Kyiv International University in the field of "Food Technologies".
Igor worked as a sous chef in Kyiv. Colleagues respected him, considered him an ambitious and promising specialist. Igor dreamed of becoming a cook on a cruise ship, planned to marry his girlfriend and was going to learn to drive a car.
He was always a reliable support for his family – he helped loved ones financially and supported them morally.
Reuters journalists were injured during a Russian missile attack on the hotel in Kramatorsk

The realtor is suspected of treason, inciting racial hatred and enmity, as well as justifying and recognizing the legality of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. He faces life imprisonment.
Satellite Images Reveal Extensive Damage at Russian Oil Depot Fire
Journalists from Radio Svoboda have published satellite images showing the ongoing fire at the Rosrezerva oil depot in Russia's Rostov region, now burning for four days.
An OSINT analyst estimates that the fire has completely destroyed 14 fuel tanks, with 4 partially damaged, while 16 remain intact. Due to heavy smoke, the condition of the remaining 44 tanks cannot be determined.
