Russia is attempting to disrupt the energy supply to the major Ukrainian cities of Odesa, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Kyiv and Lviv by targeting the external networks that supply them with electricity. Chechens or missiles have been used to target the infrastructure around these cities, in an effort to cut off the power supply. Ukrenergo CEO Kudrytskyi noted that the power grid in Ukraine is already weak and in need of repair, and any new Russian attacks could have a significant impact.

@acousticmirror I think the Russians know better than to mess with Chernobyl. They dug trenches there early in the war. Took about a week to get radiation sickness.
The main news for today is that the EU has preliminarily agreed to accelerate the supply and joint purchase of ammunition for Ukraine, the Georgian party has withdrawn a controversial draft law on foreign agents after protests, Ukraine will join the EU's joint gas procurement platform, Finland has allowed Estonia to re-export 122-mm howitzers and their ammunition to Ukraine, Latvia has handed over the first 8 cars to Ukraine for the military which were confiscated from citizens for drunk driving, Poland has sent ten more Leopard 2A4 tanks to Ukraine, the cryptocurrency exchange Binance has banned katsapas from buying and selling dollars and euros through its p2p service, Poland and Slovakia have agreed to jointly transfer surplus MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine, but the decision must first be approved by the parliament, and finally, Putin f*ck, Russia is the bottom.
We have seen yet another attempt by the terrorist state of Russia to wage war against civilization, resulting in temporary power, heat, and water outages in some of our regions and cities, particularly in Kharkiv and Zhytomyr. Odesa, Dnipropetrovska oblast, Kyiv, and Zaporizhzhia have also been affected. Repair crews, power engineers, local authorities, and the central government are working tirelessly to restore power to the affected areas. I thank everyone who is working to make this happen. We have already demonstrated what Ukraine is capable of, and no matter how much Russia does, our country and people will not be subjugated. Neither missiles nor Russia's atrocities will help. I want to thank all the soldiers of our Air Force today, especially the 138th Dnipro, 160th Odesa, and 208th Kherson anti-aircraft missile brigades, who have distinguished themselves in defending against this Russian attack. I am also grateful to everyone in the world who understands the importance of protecting the Ukrainian sky and is willing to help us ensure a normal life.
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has informed the former CEO of Antonov, Serhiy Bychkov, and several of his subordinates that they are suspected of involvement in the destruction of the legendary Mriya aircraft at Gostomel airport. SBU Head Vasyl Malyuk has promised that those responsible for the destruction of the aircraft will receive a well-deserved punishment. The SBU is conducting an investigation into the case and has gathered evidence that the former Antonov executives prevented the National Guard from entering the Gostomel airport and did not allow the construction of defensive fortifications. If found guilty, they could face up to 15 years in prison. Malyuk also stated that the state will build a new aircraft, as Mriya, like Ukraine, cannot be destroyed.
