Kyiv needs approximately €120 billion a year in military aid for Ukraine to win the war, says Kusti Salm, Permanent Secretary of the Estonian Ministry of Defense.
Estonia has proposed a financing plan for Ukraine. They are considering borrowing on the financial markets or from national budgets. Estonia is currently seeking more than 100 billion euros to achieve this goal.
"If the 50-plus countries that are part of the Ramstein coalition, which provides military support to Ukraine, spent 0.25% of their GDP, it would amount to more than 120 billion euros a year. With this amount by 2025, Ukraine will reach a level where it will be able to impose resistance on Russia," Salm said.
He mentioned that even if this amount of money starts coming to the budgets now, its impact will take almost a year.
"It will take about nine more months for the supplies to reach the level necessary for Ukraine to convincingly reach this level of depletion," emphasized the Permanent Secretary of the Estonian Ministry of
Defense.
Marine Le Pen, leader of the French far right, the second largest party in parliament, which is now in opposition to Macron.
It is significant to remind you, Le Pen is one of the most pro-Russian politicians in Europe. She has repeatedly supported the annexation of Crimea and pro-Kremlin narratives, advocated the lifting of sanctions on Russia, advocated leaving NATO and called for thinking about the “end of the European Union” (quote), and most importantly, the Kremlin, through its proxy banks, financed Le’s election campaign in 2014 Pen, allocating €11 million.
🤡 Putin: Western troops in Ukraine would not change the course of the war
Vladimir Putin does not believe that the deployment of Western troops in Ukraine would change the course of the war. Even if some NATO countries decided to send troops to Ukraine, this would not affect the course of the war change, claimed Putin referring to to Macron's statement that this should not be ruled out. "If these are official foreign military contingents, the situation on the battlefield will certainly not change (...) just as the arms deliveries have not changed anything," he said.
What are we waiting for? This bet stands!

🇺🇸 The House of Representatives of the US Congress voted overwhelmingly in favor of a bill that could ban TikTok in the United States.
The bill obliges the company to get rid of its Chinese owner ByteDance. If not, the social network will be banned.
Lawmakers supporting the decision argue that TikTok poses a national security threat because the Chinese government can force ByteDance to hand over the data of American users. The law must now be approved by the US Senate.
President Joe Biden has said he will sign the bill if it reaches his desk.
TikTok criticized the vote. China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs reacted angrily to the lawmakers' plans the day before, calling it an "act of intimidation."

US UPDATE BREAKING NEWS
House Republican Congressman, Buck, has resigned basically immediately. He’s had enough of the ‘worst congress I have ever served in’ and loathes the MAGA brigade in his party. Complex rules around replacing him in Colorado means that the republicans have barely a 1 seat majority and are in serious danger of losing control to the Democrats. And you know what that means! Aid for Ukraine!
