The nine hundred and seventh day of large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun.
In total, 139 combat clashes were recorded during the past day.
According to detailed information, yesterday the enemy launched five missile strikes against the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas using seven missiles, as well as 88 airstrikes, in particular, dropping 96 anti-aircraft missiles. In addition, he carried out 4,679 attacks, 109 of them from rocket salvo systems.
The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular in the areas of the settlements of Borov, Kharkiv region; Moskovske, Oleksandro-Kalynove, Chasiv Yar, Kurdyumivka, Mykhailivka, Kostyantynivka, Myrnograd, Oleksandropil, Zelene Pole, Memryk, Shevchenko, Vodyane, Donetsk region; Novoandriivka, Novodanilivka, Kamianske in Zaporizhzhia; Odradokamyanka in the Kherson region.
Yesterday, the aviation and missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces made 18 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and anti-aircraft defenses of the enemy, hit nine artillery systems and two more important objects of the occupiers.
In the Kharkiv direction, six combat clashes took place in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk and Liptsi.
Ten enemy attacks took place in the Kupyan direction during the day. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Berestovo and Stelmakhivka.
The enemy attacked 24 times in the Lyman direction. Tried to advance near Makiivka, Nevsky, Grekivka, Novoehorivka, and Dibrova.
In the Siverskyi direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled nine assaults by Russian invaders near Spirny, Vyimka, and Pereizny.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attacked 12 times, near Chasovoy Yar and Ivanovsky. The situation is under control.
In the direction of Toretsk , the enemy, with the support of aviation, carried out 19 attacks near Severnoy, Toretsk, and Zalizny.
In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders repelled 46 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the direction of the settlements of Vozdvizhenka, Myrolyubivka, Novotroitsky, Novogrodivka, Grodivka, Mykolaivka, Zhelanny, and Zavitny. The greatest concentration of enemy attacks was near Grodivka, Mykolaivka and Novozhelanny, the enemy actively used assault and bombing aircraft.
In the direction of Kurakhiv, the Defense Forces repelled eight attacks in the direction of Krasnohorivka.
In the Vremiv direction, according to detailed information, the enemy launched three attacks on our positions near Vugledar.
In the Dnieper direction, two attempts by the enemy to capture our positions were unsuccessful .
No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Poliske directions .
On the border with the Sumy region, the enemy uses aviation from the territory of the Russian Federation to strike the areas of Ukrainian settlements.
Our soldiers are causing significant losses in manpower and equipment to the occupying forces.

Russian aviation has dropped a FAB on its own city of Lgov in the Kursk region again.
Now propaganda is trying to pass off the crater from the aerial bomb as "a crater from a downed Himars", but this looks funny, since Himars does not leave such craters.

Manipulative and deliberate misleading reports in German press.
On 17 August, the German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung reported that the current budget planning by the German federal government does not intend to provide assistance to Ukraine next year, resulting in headlines like "Germany won't allocate more aid to Ukraine", etc.
The same happened previously when newspapers claimed that Berlin cut the military aid for Ukraine for 2025 by half.
Only that they were comparing the expenses in 2024 including the initial budget and the later increases with the projected budget for 2025. Although the budget for 2024 and 2025 actually didn't change at all.
Now they claim that there is "no provisions for further funding to support Ukraine."
True is that bilateral aid from Germany will be partially shifted to international programmes in the future. This refers, in particular, to the decision of the G7 countries to provide Ukraine with US$50 billion using frozen russian assets.
Nonetheless, "the Federal Ministry of Finance is ready to consider short-term additional funds until then," and as in 2024 "the Bundestag can be asked to grant an authorisation" to cover the additional needs of Ukraine.
In total, to say it with the words of Ukraine's Foreign Ministry: These media reports about Germany stopping its military assistance to Ukraine are incorrect and manipulative.
