CHINA IS SENDING APC’s INTO RUSSIA

It’s no secret that China is playing a vital role in the Russian military industry. Duel use components and lower grade microchips and circuits it can produce in quantity have been big business.
What they haven’t been doing, at least openly, is sending heavy ammunition and equipment.
Until now. I’ve seen two photos from a friendly source showing Russian soldiers training to use a Chinese built APC based on the Sabertooh used by Chinese security police, already in Russian military colours and displaying anti-drone equipment and awareness, the police. Police version shown above.
China has been exporting vast amounts of uniforms, body armour and helmets to Russia - much of it low grade but better than the Russians have produced themselves.
Intelligence suggests that Chinese companies and advisors have been heavily involved in streamlining and improving various military manufacturing plants large and small to bolster Russian military production.
It’s not all been plain sailing. The Russians are to say the least racist, and suffer a superiority complex which is guaranteed to rub the Chinese the wrong way, especially when roles of the past have been so clearly reversed.
The financial aspect of these operations has also been complex, with American tentacles on the financial sector are so deeply entrenched and influential, monetary transactions between Russian and Chinese companies has been fraught with complexity and deviousness trying to bypass sanctions or the threat of them. There’s no question this has depended the difficulty trading between the two states.
In many ways none of this matters because there is a problem here.
If China is going to produce on the scale it, and only it can, war material for Russia, then the fortunes of the war rapidly become skewed in Russia’s favour. If thousands of new IFV’s and APC’s start to appear in the Russian inventory then that’s game changing. It’s a lack of these vehicles that is seriously hindering Russian operations on the frontline.
The question is what can the US do about it?
China isn’t much listening to the US. Its internal situation is dire, with a major unemployment and fiscal crisis bubbling away daily, along with chronic and vast flooding across entire regions of the south.
Yet Chinese internal problems rarely ever stop it chasing its foreign and military interests.
We need to understand what China is doing for Russia and how this will impact Ukraine. This could be a new and dangerous stage of the war.
When I find out more, you’ll read it here.

😢 This is the current situation in Vuhledar in the Donetsk region: the Russians are leveling the city with aerial bombs and are pushing from all sides.

Forbes writes that the 72nd OMBr has been defending the city for almost 2 years and is "exhausted", and the Russians are trying to surround them.

The military says that the occupiers entered the city in small groups and are trying to gain a foothold in order to continue the offensive.

The head of the center for countering disinformation comments on the situation:
"Earlier, it was convenient to defend the city, because it is at a height. But with the active arrival of the KAB to the front, the enemy managed to destroy it and move to the flank.

Unfortunately, KAB and aviation are the only things that allow enemy infantry to move."

🇺🇸🇬🇧 The U.S. and the U.K. may "quietly" allow Ukraine to strike russia with Storm Shadow missiles, - the Times

According to the report, the parties have prepared two versions of final statements. Due to unresolved details, they announced the one that mentions continued discussions regarding Ukraine’s authorization for long-range strikes.

The Times claims that permission for strikes on russia using Storm Shadow missiles may be granted as early as next week, and it will be kept secret to avoid giving russia any prior warning of a potential attack.

Ugh!!! Complete and utter bad news from the anonymous Military Analyst. 😫 If you can bear reading it. I hope he's completely misinformed this time. Dianna

FRONTLINE UPDATE

Kursk is difficult to describe as a great deal of OPSEC prevents decent information. The latest is that Ukraine has advanced from
Southern border into Glushkovo, but at the same time seem to have been pushed back further in the main salient from the west. At the same time Ukraine made slight gains to the north. Beyond that the whole scenario is slightly odd and in my opinion the Russian have made notable gains.  Whatever the Ukrainians are doing it’s not working out as well as they would like.  The Russians themselves are reporting that any of the area they are occupying they are looting - these are Russians looting Russians, it’s just so typical of these orcs.

Vovchansk: nothing new to report since the other day. Russians are on the defensive and we know they are bringing in convict Storm-Z troops.

Kupiansk-Kremina-Svatove: the Russians are very close to the Oskil River now and it seems only like a matter of time.
Further south at Neske and Makivka, the Russians have taken a lot of ground and entered areas the Ukrainian side is still resisting.
Overall the Russians are making very slow progress.

Klieshievka is now as good as lost but is stagnant.

Toretsk/NewYork
Bad news all around.
Russians making continuous gains, using ‘spike’ attacks along key road, tree or rail routes. Ukrainians under immense pressure - frankly it seems slightly desperate.

Pokrovsk - to the north things are stable but the westward advance towards the town is significant. Hodrivka has fallen, the speed of the Russian advance is still too high and too consistent and Ukraine is also loosing a lot of men. Things are bad.
The Russian salient is spreading quickly and there are areas where the Ukrainians are surrounded in three sides.

Maximilianivka - Russia continues to advance along the river through the towns on its banks have advanced substantially.
Pobeda to the south is also under constant threat.

Vuhledar - Russia has shown determination and has advanced substantially- the town is now almost encircled.
Once taken this will
Allow the Russians to begin a swathe of operations to come
North and begin a major pincer movement to slice out the whole south east corner of the front.

Overall: Russia continues to make substantial gains.
Both sides are suffering high casualties relative to their force size.

President Joe Biden vowed to support Ukraine until victory in its war against Russia at the UN General Assembly on Tuesday.

Since the war began more than two years ago, Biden said, “our NATO allies and partners and 50 plus nations stood up” against Russia.

“Most importantly, the Ukrainian people stood up. I asked the people in this chamber to stand up for them,” Biden said.

“The good news is, Putin’s war has failed, and as has his core aim,” Biden added. “He set out to destroy Ukraine, but Ukraine is still free. He set out to weaken NATO, but NATO is bigger, stronger, more united than ever before, with two new members, Finland and Sweden.”

“But we cannot let up,” the president added – an allusion to the uncertain future of support for Ukraine both in the US, where former President Donald Trump is seeking another term in office and could implement serious cuts to aid to Ukraine, and around the world.

Russians Denying Medical Care to Ukraine Prisoners

Jails controlled by Russia are deliberately withholding medical care for Ukrainian prisoners, with doctors in one prison even taking part in what it called "torture", a commission mandated by the UN rights council.
The commission, set up by the Human Rights Council to investigate violations in Ukraine since Russia's invasion, had already concluded that Moscow's occupying forces were using torture "systematically".
Beyond the torture and rape in prison camps or the rape of women in occupied towns, Mose denounced "the lack of adequate medical assistance to those who desperately needed it" in detention centres controlled by Moscow.

Russia deliberately restricts international shipping in the waters of the Sea of Azov in order to take possession of it and the Kerch Strait. Russia illegally built the Kerch Bridge, which has created a permanent obstacle to shipping, in particular for large international vessels carrying Ukrainian goods.

This was stated by the ambassador on special assignment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Anton Korynevych, during his speech at the court in The Hague, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine report.

The Crimean Bridge is not just an engineering structure, but also a powerful symbol of Russian aggression against Ukraine and the occupation of Ukrainian Crimea. Built after the illegal annexation of the peninsula in 2014, the bridge became a vital artery for the supply of Russian troops to the occupied territories of Ukraine.

The bridge is clear evidence of Russia's violation of international law and Ukraine's territorial integrity. It serves as the main route for the movement of Russian military equipment, ammunition and other resources to the occupied territories of southern Ukraine.

The building is a legitimate target for the Ukrainian military. For example, the bridge was successfully hit on October 8, 2022 and July 17, 2023.

Korynevich also emphasized the importance of dismantling the Crimean bridge and restoring free passage through the Kerch Strait.

The Iranian president says his country doesn't support Moscow as Tehran allegedly transfers ballistic missiles to Russia.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian claimed on Sept. 23 on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York that his country had never supported Russia's invasion of Ukraine and denied supplying ballistic missiles to Russia, the Guardian reported.

Washington confirmed on Sept. 10 earlier media reports that Russia had received shipments of Iranian Fath-360 close-range ballistic missiles. A day prior, Iran denied it had delivered ballistic missiles to Russia, claiming the ongoing reports were "psychological warfare."

"We are willing to sit down with the Europeans and the Americans to have a dialogue and negotiations. We have never approved of Russian aggression against Ukrainian territory," Pezeshkian claimed in New York.

Pezeshkian became the country's president on Aug. 30, 2024. During his first press conference after taking office he also denied supplying ballistic missiles to Russia.

"There may have been such deliveries in the past. But I can assure you that there have been no such deliveries to Russia since I took office," Pezeshkian said.

Ukraine, the E.U., and the U.S. introduced more sanctions against Iran in the wake of the confirmation of the missile delivery to Russia.

The confirmation of the deliveries marked a "further escalation of Iran's military support to Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine," the U.K., France, and Germany said in their Sept. 10 joint statement.

Russian warship opens fire on Norwegian vessel in Arctic

A Russian warship demanded that a Norwegian fishing vessel leave an area in the Arctic Ocean, and when it failed to do so, it fired warning shots, according to the captain of the damaged vessel, Øystein Orten. He and his five-man crew encountered the Russian Navy's large anti-submarine ship Admiral Levchenko on September 12. "They called me on the radio: 'This is a Russian warship, you need to leave this area.' I replied that this was out of the question," Orten recounted the exchange.

The 163-metre-long warship then charged towards the 15-metre-long fishing boat, blaring its horn and firing a warning shot that exploded in the water near the Norwegian vessel. “It was a huge explosion, our boat shook,” Orten said, adding that they quickly sailed to a safe distance.

The incident took place in Norway's exclusive economic zone in the Barents Sea, which is shared between Norway and Russia. Russian forces had previously conducted exercises and launched missiles in the Norwegian economic zone, angering local fishermen.

Russian propagandist Solovyev appears to call for Putin's resignation.

There is however some uncertainty if he said "Otstavka", meaning resignation or "Stavka", calling for the creation of a "headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.

The uncertainty might be enough to save him from the known dangers of failure-prone russian windows.

The conversation was about Ukraine's counter attack in the Kursk region of ruzzia, which Solovyev is not happy about.

At the very least, it is exposing Putin's inability to protect his own country and people.

🫡 GUR units liberated the Vovchan Aggregate Plant from the occupiers

✔️ As a result of an extremely complex and successful operation, the GUR units completely liberated the territory of the Vovchan Aggregate Plant and destroyed the occupiers in all the buildings of the enterprise.

🫡 On Tuesday, September 24, at 2:40 p.m., the commander of the GUR special unit Timur reported to the head of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kyryl Budanov about the successful completion of the operation.

🦉 The operation was carried out by special groups of GUR: "Stugna", "Paragon", "Yunger", BDK, "Terror".

🤜 The fighters of the GUR MOU carried out a systematic sweep of the plant's buildings, constantly engaging in contact battles with the enemy in densely built-up conditions. In some cases, Ukrainian special forces engaged in hand-to-hand combat with the enemy.

📣 the Russians turned the aggregate plant into their propaganda "fortress", using in its defense the most motivated and professional units, among which there were even fighters of the 45th brigade of SpP airborne troops (Kubinka, Moscow).

⚡️ In addition, a significant amount of artillery, kamikaze attack drones, KABs and heavy Solntsepok flamethrower systems were continuously used against Ukrainian scouts.

👥 Despite the fierce resistance of the enemy, the fighters of the GUR MOU managed to destroy the enemy, take prisoners and replenish the exchange fund.

❗️ The territory of the aggregate plant was transferred to the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine after clearing all 30 buildings of the facility.

🫡Every second piece of ammunition on the front is of Ukrainian production, - the head of the Ministry of Defense

📌Over the past year, Ukrainian arms production was financed by more than $4 billion

📌 Every second piece of ammunition on the front is Ukrainian-made. If in 2023 the Ukrainian share of ammunition was 18%, then in 2024 it increased to 41%.

📌 During this year, Ukraine increased its long-range capabilities several times. In 2024, the Ministry of Defense alone contracted drones for over UAH 21 billion and ammunition for them for another UAH 9 billion. More than a million drones have been purchased.

📌 Ukraine was the first in the world to introduce the "swarm of drones" technology. In the last year alone, it was possible to destroy or damage more than 200 targets on enemy territory, the Minister of Defense noted.
