Fines imposed by Russian courts on Google for blocking YouTube accounts have reached $20.88 trillion.
Russian courts have imposed fines on Google for its refusal to restore the Russian propaganda YouTube channels, which include Channel One, VGTRK, NTV, the Ministry of Defense's Zvezda channel, and M.S. Simonyan.
It was previously reported that Google has restricted the creation of new accounts in the Russian Federation, according to a statement from the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications, and Mass Media on September 26.

The United States is set to transfer 2,000 Humvee armoured vehicles to Ukraine, as reported by Forbes.
The Humvee’s familiar design ensures quick integration into Ukrainian forces. With over 3,000 Humvees received early in the war, Ukrainian soldiers are already proficient with the vehicle, which is praised for its functionality. Its size and maneuverability make it especially useful for Ukraine’s defense strategy, particularly in urban combat where it can navigate narrow streets more effectively than larger tanks and artillery.

Running contrary to today’s positive EU economic numbers, Hungary announces that its economy has entered recession with its second consecutive quarter of negative GDP growth at -0.8% for the third quarter of 2024.
In comparison, Germany’s third-quarter GDP growth came in at +0.2%.
Already the poorest country in the EU, Hungary’s embrace of autocracy and growing alliances with Russia, Iran, and China doesn’t bode well for the nation that Transparency International ranks as the most corrupt in the EU.

In Kharkiv, a 16-year-old girl was among the seven injured as a result of a night time Russian strike.
The mayor of Kharkiv, Igor Terekhov, also said that in the Kholodnohirskyi district, the ceiling between the 8th and 9th floors of a high-rise building was damaged, and 3 apartments were destroyed.
As a result of the shelling, the apartments on the top floor of the nine-story residential building were partially destroyed, and the windows in the building were also broken.
Rescue operations continue. More than 25 rescuers and 6 units of emergency department equipment were involved in liquidation of the consequences.

The Russian Armed Forces have evacuated an American who supplied intelligence to Russia for shelling
A US citizen who supplied intelligence to the Russian Armed Forces has been evacuated from the recently occupied Ukrainian city of Vuhledar, the "DPR" Defense Headquarters reported.
The American's name has not been given, but it is reported that he has been in Ukraine for at least the last two years, from where he "gave Russia valuable intelligence that allowed it to carry out high-precision strikes on the 'enemy' [Ukraine] minimizing damage to civilian infrastructure and the civilian population."
"The issue of granting political asylum and obtaining Russian citizenship is being resolved," the "DPR" Defense Headquarters reported.
