A robbery for 25 packs of butter — that's how much two Great ruZZians who got up from their knees stole from a Moscow Pyaterochka. They defended the stolen butter with a knife.
The residents of the world's richest country in natural resources went into a grocery store on Leningradskoe Shosse, walked along the aisles, and then one of them started putting butter in his backpack. Right under the camera. The thieves were naturally noticed. The employee tried to stop them, but then one of them pulled out a knife.
The police have already detained two suspects, they are 29 and 25 years old. A criminal case has been opened against the robbers under the article "Robbery", for 25 packs of butter they face up to 10 years in prison.
Over the year, the price of butter in the ruZZian federaZtion has increased by more than 20%: if in January the average retail price was at the level of 876 rubles per kilogram, then in September it was already 1021 rubles. @ukrainejournal

Ukrainian survivors of russian captivity share harrowing stories at the Ministerial Conference on the Human Dimension of the #PeaceFormula in Montreal.
Their testimonies reveal the brutal reality of torture, starvation, and psychological
abuse.
"We were beaten and starved," says former POW Maksym Kolesnikov. "The most difficult was when we were forbidden to talk and forced to stand for hours." He urges the world to help free his fellow soldiers still held captive.
Kateryna Yesypenko speaks out about her husband Vladyslav, a journalist imprisoned by russia for reporting on the situation in occupied Crimea. "He was tortured with electric shock to force a false confession," she reveals.
Ukrainian paramedic Yuliia Paievska (Taira) describes the horrific experience of torture by electric shock. "It's when your muscles are too tense, when your breath catches, when your heart threatens to stop," she says.
Yuliia Paievska noted that in this way she was forced to confess to crimes she had never committed, but on the contrary, she took care of the wounded, including even russians.
Paievska calls for an alternative to the International Red Cross to reach Ukrainian prisoners and ensure their humane treatment. "The Red Cross has not reached anyone I know," she states.

This cartoon is from 1930s. The West was quietly watching as russia was killing Ukrainian people. "It's about time to stop this."
Back then, fools argued:
"The Soviet Union is not the russian Empire!"
"Tales of millions starving aren't real!"
"We shouldn't anger the bear!"
Now they argue similar nonsense:
"russia is not the Soviet Union!"
"All that footage of murder and genocide isn't real!"
"We shouldn't anger the nuclear country!"
A hundred years has passed and nothing has changed.
History will judge us for making the same mistake again.
