Russia didn't really need this Syria, believes Z-propagandist Alexander Kots. Well, yes, they killed a lot of people, spent money, but it's nothing terrible. It happens to everyone:

"I thought for a long time about where we got such a passion for self-flagellation in connection with the events in Syria. I understand [the Ukrainians]. At least they have some kind of victory. They have already stopped our offensive in the DPR. Their front near Kurakhovo and Velyka Novosyolka is not cracking. Queues at the military registration and enlistment offices. European salaries and coffee at the Vienna Opera. There is a reason to make fun of the Muscovites.

Why should we be responsible for the failure of the Syrian army in the Iranian control zone? Who were we supposed to stop the bogeymen with? Urgently transfer the 810th and 155th from the Kursk region? Paratroopers from Chasy Yar? The 24th from Pokrovsk? In my opinion, it is absolutely obvious that today our military capabilities in Syria are very limited. At the same time, intelligence warned all interested parties about everything.

Damascus after 2020, let's be honest, gradually moved away from Moscow towards Tehran. It did not create anything for us in terms of investment attractiveness. And made itself much more dependent on Iran than on Russia. At the same time, the SAR army, which was not the most motivated, degraded along with the bureaucracy, special services and economy. But for some reason, some blame our generals for the failure in Aleppo.

To a greater extent, probably, from resentment. We spent so much effort, money and lives to achieve a tangible result. And it was squandered in a matter of hours, and this process will continue. And in the current conditions, I really don’t want to be saddled with the main burden of yet another rescue of a regime that does not learn any historical lessons. We have enough of our own concerns today.

…In general, the Russian president spoke exhaustively about today back in 2015: “From now on, we are not going to be more Syrian than the Syrians themselves,” - Kotsnews.

Meanwhile the insurgent forces are burning russian flags

Big business in Georgia support the protesters against the rejection of European integration.

Two of the country's largest banks - Bank of Georgia and TBC Bank, telecom operators Magticom and Silknet, developer ORBI Group, as well as the country's largest car dealer Tegeta - opposed the government's decision to suspend European integration and supported the protesters.

"The European and Euro-Atlantic future of Georgia is the historical choice of the absolute majority of our people, which is enshrined in Article 78 of the Constitution of Georgia. We are firmly convinced that the temporary suspension of European integration is contrary to the will of the Georgian people and the Constitution of Georgia. TBC has always been and remains an unconditional supporter of Georgia's European and Euro-Atlantic integration," TBC Bank said in a statement.

Magticom condemned the actions of the security forces to disperse the protesters, and Tegeta noted that the current crisis situation is detrimental to the future of the country and threatens "development and common goals."

According to Paper Katruli, Georgian ambassadors in different countries are resigning en masse due to the actions of the authorities. Diplomats in the United States, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Italy and Lithuania left their posts. One of the first to resign was the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Bulgaria Otar Berdzenishvili.

"I condemn any violence and leave the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Kingdom of the Netherlands," said Ambassador to the Netherlands David Solomonia.

According to Newsgeorgia, several dozen employees of the Georgian Defense Ministry, following the employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, expressed their commitment to the course of joining the EU and NATO. At the moment, the statement has been signed by 43 people - and they are employees of the departments of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia.

Some employees of the Constitutional Court of Georgia also called on the authorities to reconsider the decision to freeze negotiations on joining the European Union. They believe that this decision of the government "ignores the constitutional will of the citizens of Georgia" and contradicts the article of the basic law, according to which the constitutional bodies must take all measures to ensure Georgia's full integration into the EU and NATO.

Journalists found a Russian filtration camp for Ukrainian prisoners in Belarus - Belarusian Investigative Center investigation

At the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Russian military set up a filtration camp on the territory of Belarus. Journalists found out that it was located on the basis of one of the buildings belonging to the Belarusian state enterprise “Pripyat Alliance” in Narovla (Homel region).

Some human rights activists call this camp one of the most cruel camps for prisoners. Not only Ukrainian military, but also civilians, including minors, were taken there. For example, Larisa Yahodinskaya, a resident of the Kiev region, said that in March 2022 her two sons, one of whom was under the age of eighteen, were taken there: “They said that their sons were saboteurs and took them to Chernobyl. There it turned out that they beat them, and as [the younger son] Slava told me later, [the older one] probably even had his ribs broken, they beat him badly with a bat.”

Bohdan Lysenko, an AFU serviceman who was captured by the Russian military in late March 2022, also spoke about the torture of civilians: “Narovlya was such a propaganda picture that we [Russian military] are so, like, humane... But no one shows them how civilians were interrogated there. And the civilians there were beaten, God forbid... That is, there were constantly heard screams.”

According to human rights activists, some of the Ukrainians who passed through the filtration camp in Narovlya are still being held captive, in particular, in penal colonies in Russia.

I can't post the video. Its 41 megs.

The drone of 225 OSHB fighters recorded one of the roads in the Kursk region, which became a trap for Russian troops. The fields are mined, the road is shelled by Ukrainian artillery, and their every movement is carefully monitored. This is an example of how the tactics and coordination of the Ukrainian Army are deadly

UK spy chief says Russia behind 'staggeringly reckless' sabotage in Europe

Britain's foreign spy chief accused Russia on Friday of waging a "staggeringly reckless campaign" of sabotage in Europe while also stepping up its nuclear sabre-rattling ...

Zelensky:

Together with Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi, we decided that it was time to replace the Commander of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Major General Mykhailo Drapatyi has been appointed as the new Commander. Colonel Oleh Apostol – who previously commanded the 95th Air Assault Brigade – has been appointed as the new Deputy Commander-in-Chief.

Both are highly experienced warriors. This year, Mykhailo Drapatyi organized the defense in the Kharkiv direction, practically thwarting a Russian offensive. Overall, since 2014, he has been involved in the war on the most intense and critical fronts.

Oleh Apostol – a Hero of Ukraine – has held every command position within the Airborne Assault Forces; he has also been defending our state since 2014, and he knows exactly what is needed to enhance our army's combat capabilities. Now, Oleh Apostol will be responsible for the new quality of training for our warriors, and he will receive full support at all levels to ensure exactly that.

The Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are the backbone of our army. And much depends on how effectively the structure of the Land Forces, as well as the entire Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine, functions. Changes are needed – changes in personnel management that will ensure better results on the battlefield.

Colonel Pavlo Palisa, a combat commander and Commander of the 93rd Kholodnyi Yar Brigade, has been appointed Deputy Head of the Office. He clearly understands what is happening in the brigades, at the front, and I need just such a person to know exactly what is happening on a daily basis directly from the front.

And one more thing. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine continues to develop our Army+ application, and in December, the National Guard of Ukraine is expected to join all Army+ services. In particular, this concerns transfers.

Forceful dispersal of pro-European protests is taking place by the parliament in Tbilisi, Georgia
