An FSB agent was detained after setting up an “observation post” in the attic of a high-rise building to adjust strikes on Mykolaiv
The perpetrator, a former lecturer at a local university, identified air defense missile positions and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces, redirecting enemy strikes to bypass Ukrainian air defense. To achieve this, he installed a concealed video camera in the attic of the building where he lived.
The individual also aimed to estimate the number and types of Ukrainian military equipment moving toward the front lines.
He faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property, according to the Security Service of Ukraine.
