Now the truth is coming out: Elon Musk is coming after Social Security and Medicare.
Musk tipped his hand last week when he retweeted to his 207 million followers a thread from Senator Mike Lee calling for the dismantling of Social Security. Then, congressional leaders confirmed that Social Security and Medicare cuts were on the table after they met with Musk last week.
I warned before the election that this was Musk’s plan. There’s no possible way to cut 30% of the federal budget without major cuts to Social Security and Medicare, but the corporate media didn’t pay attention.
