From "The Analyst":
NO CHANCE OF TAURUS NOW
The Russians knew what they were doing when they leaked the Luftwaffe commander discussing Taurus deployment to Ukraine. Stupidly discussing secret information over an unencrypted WebEx channel, the German communications services should be ashamed of themselves for letting this happen.
Yet the leak, letting everyone know the Russians listened in and how they did it is unusual. They gave away their source and revealed it because the value of doing so totally outweighed the value of keeping quiet.
The Russians called in the German Ambassador to dress him down over the comments. They have painted themselves as they alyways do, as the victim of NATO aggression. The revelations that British servicemen may be on the ground in Ukraine are probably no surprise to the Russians at all. In their place I would have assumed it was so. They would do the same thing and have in the past, so their outrage is entirely contrived.
However it has sent left wing news sites like the Guardian into a panic and outraged right wing pro Russian sources as irresponsibly moving towards war.
For Chancellor Sholz however, it’s made his decision not to supply the missiles even more solidified. Everything he wrings his hands over - the possibility of adding to the crisis, the fake outrage of the Russians, the dangers of ‘direct’ involvement, have all been confirmed - if you want to believe that theory as he does.
But Russia scored big with this, because they were terrified of Taurus. It’s the one thing that could have wrecked the Kerch bridge and any number of deeper command and control centres, ammo dumps and the like. Keeping it out of the war is a victory and worth the price of revealing a few fleeting comms intercept secrets. There are plenty more.
HOW TO VOTE AGAINST EVERYONE
This presidential election is a circus and a farce.
Cat calls to come at noon on March 17th! To vote against Putin and everyone!
There is a legal way to vote “against everyone” - put two or more checkmarks in different boxes on the ballot.
The vote will then go to an “invalid candidate,” but it is still a valid vote (!) that will not go to any of the submitted candidates.
An unpleasant but honest fact - if you don’t come to the polling station, your vote will 100% go for Putin.
Shortly before his death, Navalny also called again on voters to go to the polls at noon on March 17 and form long lines.
“Putin views these elections as a referendum on approval of his actions. Referendum on approval of the war. Let’s break his plans and make sure that on March 17 no one is interested in the fake result, but all of Russia saw and understood:
the will of the majority is that Putin must leave.”

In Yakutia, a former participant in the war in Ukraine committed a double murder
According to investigators, on the night of February 24, in one of the private houses in the village of Kutana, Suntarsky district, 35-year-old Viktor Savvinov bashed the head of his drinking companion with a metal crowbar. Then he went to the private house of a 64-year-old woman he knew. The victim turned out to be a local teacher, Valentina Fedorova, who won the “Best Teacher in Russia” competition and even received a grant from Putin. The man then tried to set the house on fire and fled the scene. He was detained by a local police officer.
The daughter of the deceased teacher stated that on February 23 he walked around the village and complained that he was not being given due respect: “I walked around the neighbors and came to my mother at about 23:00, she is his daughter-in-law. His mother didn’t let him in and was the only one who called the head and said that he was wandering around the village drunk. The head sent a local police officer, who did not arrest him for a day, but took him to the village and put him to bed.” The next day, the ex-soldier returned to the woman: “He broke into my mother’s house. She had bruises on her stomach and ribs, her hands were all covered in blood, which meant she was trying to defend herself. After the beating, he took a household ax and hit her on the head... They didn’t even show us her body, he mutilated my mother so much.”
Local newspaper Sakhaday writes that the suspect has been convicted three times since 2010 on charges of causing grievous bodily harm, theft, car theft, threats to kill, robbery and attempted robbery. In 2020, he received 11 years in a maximum security
colony for the murder of a woman. In the colony he was recruited for the war.
And Putin said at his message that "the new elite of heroes of the Northern Military District fill his heart with pride.”
You need to be a psychopath to recognize others from afar.

The occupying forces have removed the last experienced pro-Ukrainian specialists from the ZNPP. Maintenance of the station has been entrusted to Russians and local collaborators who have agreed to work there," stated Petro Kotin, Vice Chairman of the board of "Energoatom."
"At the beginning of the year, there were 360 company employees at the NPP; however, access to the station is now closed to them. During February, the occupiers removed the last of our personnel who remained loyal to Ukraine and guaranteed safety at the station," Kotin explained.
"Sixty percent of shift supervisors of power units have left the occupied nuclear plant. Fourteen percent of Russians have blocked passes due to refusal to sign contracts, resulting in the same number of vacancies. Additionally, Ukraine terminated labor relations with 12% of workers."
"As a result, they currently have only eight
shift chiefs left - individuals directly responsible for nuclear and radiation safety. The nuclear units at the ZNPP have been modernized, with designs significantly different from the Russian ones. Russian personnel cannot reliably operate them."
"In addition, personnel from nearby towns and villages have been recruited, many of whom lack understanding of nuclear power plants," he added.
Russian jet escorts French plane
The russian military has launched a Su-27 fighter jet to escort a French surveillance plane over the Black Sea. They say the Su-27 was used to prevent a violation of the state border of the russian Federation.
The plane, which was accompanied by two Rafale fighter jets (!), was traveling in international airspace. The French planes turned away from the russian border after the russian jet approached, the ministry said.
🤡 This is hilarious. A Su-27 against two Rafale. It's a pity that I don't have any video footage of this. 😭

💥The Russian Federation has introduced a ban on the export of gasoline.
Consequences of the attacks on oil refineries. Since the beginning of the year, five russian oil refineries, as well as oil and gas terminals in the Leningrad, Bryansk region and the St. Petersburg oil terminal have been hit by drones.
As a consequence, ruzzia has introduced a ban on gasoline exports. It will last from March, 1st until August, 31st. The reason for the restrictions was the shortage of automobile fuel on the russian market.
🔥😁👍

Imagine the house of your neighbor across the street is on fire. But you don't want to get burned so you refuse to cross the street to help. They have a water spigot but no hose. So at first you give them a cup to help put out the flames, but it needs more than a cup. Then you throw a bucket across the street. But that takes too long to fill up and still doesn't do it. All the while their house continues to burn. Finally someone suggests you let them have your hose, since you already ordered a new one anyway. But you won't give them the hose, because you're worried they will use it to drown the arsonist and not just put out the fire. And because you don't want to be seen as having crossed the street you tell your neighbor there is nothing you can do and they will just have to put the fire out with no water. That is the kind of thing I hear when I hear excuses like these being used for delaying weapons. Last year we delayed weapons right into a counter offensive that needed weapons to succeed and here we are again. Still refusing to walk halfway across the street to throw them a hose. Disappointment.

⚖️ The International Criminal Court in The Hague issued warrants for the arrest of two russian war criminals.
The following are wanted for crimes against Ukrainians:
⏺ Commander of long-range aviation of the russian federation, Serhiy Kobylash;

The court concluded that they deliberately and repeatedly agreed and organized attacks on the civilian population and civilian objects of Ukraine, violating numerous norms of international law.
Suspects must be immediately detained in any country in the world that has ratified the Rome Statute and brought to justice.
"This is already the second decision of the International Criminal Court regarding Russian war criminals. Both relate to the highest military and political leadership of the Russian Federation. For every crime committed in Ukraine, Russia will be responsible both on the battlefield and in the international tribunal,"

A retired US Air Force lieutenant colonel has been accused of disclosing classified information about Ukraine and the country's national defense on a dating site.
The US Department of Justice revealed that 63-year-old David Franklin Slater, who recently served as a civilian employee of the US Air Force at the US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), engaged in communication with an individual posing as a Ukrainian.
The individual frequently requested intelligence from Slater, referring to him as her "favorite secret informant" and "secret agent." From approximately August 2021 to April 2022, Slater had access to classified information and attended briefings on the Russian conflict with Ukraine.
Slater has been arrested and faces a potential sentence of up to 10 years in prison.
Lukashenko has signed a decree titled 'On the transfer of government agencies and other organizations to work in wartime conditions,' as reported on the website of the Belarusian leader.
The decree aims to coordinate the functioning of government agencies during wartime and outlines certain organizations whose leaders may be awarded military ranks if deemed necessary.
According to the statement, 'The issuance of the decree will ensure the systematic and uninterrupted operation of the state apparatus during periods of escalating military threats and in times of war.'
At the end of February, the self-proclaimed president of Belarus urged citizens to prepare mentally and strategically for a potential third world war.
"You fly and hear them squeak": how a Ukrainian drone "Vampir" destroys Russian tanks - hromadske
Russians advance on Kupyansk. The main direction of the attack was the small village of Synkivka, 7 km from the city itself.
"They are biting this part of the front. Before that, Ivanivka was important to them. They were not allowed there – they are trying in Synkivka," Oleksandr, a soldier of the 32nd separate mechanized brigade, comments on the situation in this direction.
Here, not far from Kupyansk, hromadske journalists go on night duty with the UAV unit, which works on the Ukrainian Vampire attack drone.
On this hexacopter (the drone got its name because it has six engines), the military works mainly at night, because it can be heard and seen from afar. Today, remote mining is carried out – mines are dropped on the roads used by Russian vehicles, and "traditional" drops are also used – on the Russians' dugouts.
In a few days, a Russian tank will blow up on this mine. Although these drones are more
expensive, louder and less mobile than FPV drones, they can carry more explosives and therefore cause more damage.
"How many FPVs does it take to hit a tank? No one counts how many birds they lose. It's cool when we see a video of FPVs and they're just bombing stuff," explains Atem, the drone operator, of the difference in cost.
And he adds: his "Vampire" fully pays for itself.
