Russian propaganda has planted a deepfake in which NSDC Secretary Alexei Danilov allegedly takes responsibility for organizing the terrorist attack in Crocus.

The fake was spread through the TG channel “Pool No. 3” and a number of other channels (TV channel “Zvezda”, etc.), and then shown on NTV.

In fact, Danilov did not speak at the Ukrainian telethon that day; his speech was generated by a neural network, and the video was taken from one of the previous broadcasts.

On the evening of March 22, other presenters worked on the air of the Ukrainian telethon, and Danilov was not a guest there, Meduza notes.

Part of the video with the TV presenters was clearly taken from the broadcast on March 16; their interlocutor was the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov.

Military intelligence: Partisans attack Russian soldiers, equipment in occupied Melitopol.

Melitopol, a city with a pre-war population of about 150,000 people, has been occupied since March 2022.

The Ukrainian resistance has been active here since then, targeting Russian military personnel and facilities.

"According to preliminary data, about 20 Russian soldiers, two Kamaz trucks and a UAZ Patriot pickup truck were at the epicenter of the explosions," the agency wrote on Telegram, saying that the losses are being clarified.

The explosions in occupied Melitopol in Zaporizhzhia Oblast killed Russian soldiers and destroyed their military equipment, according to Ukraine's military intelligence agency (HUR).

HUR claimed to have orchestrated a joint attack with local resistance against a group of Russian serviceman in the city on March 22.

They have brought hundreds of thousands of their terrorists here, to Ukrainian land, they fight against us, and they don't care what's happening inside their own country. Yesterday all this happened, and this absolutely miserable Putin, instead of attending to his own citizens of Russia, addressing them, remained silent for a day – thinking about how to link this with Ukraine. Everything is absolutely predictable.

Those hundreds of thousands of Russians who are now killing on Ukrainian land would surely be enough to stop any terrorists. And if the Russians are ready to silently die in "Crocus Halls" and not ask any questions to their security and intelligence agencies, then Putin will try to turn such a situation to his personal advantage again.

🇺🇸Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives Marjorie Taylor Greene, has initiated a motion to vacate fellow Republican Speaker Mike Johnson.

It is unclear whether there will be enough votes to remove the speaker.

House Democrats say Mike Johnson has an option to control his future over a motion to vacate from Marjorie Taylor Green: putting a Ukraine aid package on the floor.

Several Democrats from across the ideological spectrum said in interviews with POLITICO they would motion to table Greene’s resolution — if it came to a vote — if Johnson put a Ukraine aid package on the House floor for a vote.

All Democrats previously voted to oust former Speaker Kevin McCarthy along with a group of Republicans last fall.

“I think Speaker Johnson should demonstrate a willingness to govern in a way that is helpful to the plight of democracy and our allies across the world,” said Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-Va.), who said she’d vote to set aside the motion if the Senate-passed foreign aid bill came up for a vote.

“If Taylor Greene puts forth a motion to vacate because there's a bill on the floor that we have the ability to vote on — the Senate-passed Ukraine bill — I would absolutely vote to table,” she said.
