Good morning Resisters everywhere. I am outside this morning getting 3 bars. It's a little cool at 45⁰. But in an hour it will be 55⁰. Wearing my quilted flannel shirt.

🟠 Tonight, Jewish families around the world will begin the celebration of Passover with the traditional seder meal. Michelle and I loved the seders we held in the White House, and the story of Passover – with its focus on resilience, redemption, and renewal in the face of persecution and uncertainty. Today it rings even more true.

This Passover, let’s remember everyone who is unable to celebrate the holiday with their loved ones. And in a time when there’s been so much suffering and loss in Israel and Gaza, let’s reaffirm our commitment to the Jewish people, and people of all religions, who deserve to feel safe and secure wherever they live and practice their faith. Chag Sameach.

After the scandal the German company Knauf announced its complete withdrawal from ruZZia.

The manufacturer of building materials Knauf stops working in ruZZia after more than 30 years. The company did not name the reasons for leaving the Russian market, indicating only that this is happening against the backdrop of "current events."

In November 2023, Ukrainian authorities accused Knauf of sponsoring the war, namely paying $117 million in taxes to ruZZia.

In April of this year, it became known that products of the German brand are used in construction in occupied Mariupol. The company responded that it complies with sanctions and does not support ruZZian aggression.

According to the Contour Focus service, the revenue of the Knauf branch network in Putinistan at the end of 2023 amounted to at least 135 billion rubles, the company increased its revenue by 14% compared to the year before.

In a statement, the company said now it had decided to transfer the entire business, including raw material extraction, production and sales, to local management in order to preserve the jobs of more than 4,000 employees. The Z-authorities have yet to approve this.

Knauf did not name specific reasons for curtailing business in Putinistan. As previously reported, the concern, which had a turnover of 15.4 billion euros in 2022, again came under fire for its work in the Z-lands.
