Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, in a telephone conversation with Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, condemned the attack on the Ohmatdyt Children's Hospital.
The Ukrainian Prime Minister noted that he informed Fico, who returned to work today for the first time after the recent assassination attempt, about the Russian attack and the destruction of Ohmatdyt.
"Robert Fico condemned this attack. Slovakia has expressed its willingness to accept some of the children for treatment. I am grateful for this support," Shmyhal said.
The parties agreed to hold the third joint meeting of the governments of Ukraine and Slovakia in the autumn on Ukrainian territory.

"It’s very difficult to lose people, to lose children. At such moments you want to kill Putin” - Zelensky
“Putin doesn’t care about what’s happening in Ukraine. The missile was not flying towards a military target, and there was nothing wrong with it. No, the rocket was flying straight at the hospital. And this is not the first time,” he said during a speech at the Ronald Reagan Institute.
The Kh-101 missile, which devastated the Ohmatdyt hospital, reportedly incorporates Western-made components, indicating the Kremlin’s effective circumvention of sanctions, according to experts and Ukrainian officials cited by the Financial Times (FT).
An analysis of Russian documents reveals that Russian firms in 2023 managed to acquire these components by purchasing them openly on the market and importing them via China.
Specialists from the Kyiv Research Institute of Forensic Examinations have identified over 30 parts and fragments belonging to the Kh-101 missile.
Russia produces almost 8 times more X-101 missiles now than before the full-scale invasion, according to the Financial Times.
On July 8, five people were killed in the ADONIS clinic as a result of a Russian missile attack on Kyiv.

They are equipped with modern systems of navigation, control, automatic fire extinguishing and video surveillance cameras, which makes them maneuverable, fast and ergonomic.
Watercraft are already used on sea and river sections of the border for protection and defense, and are also involved in ensuring the security component of the maritime corridor in the Black Sea.

🇯🇵 The Japanese government handed over 2 more Nikken mechanized demining machines to the units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine
In turn Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko thanked his Japanese colleagues for their support:
💬 "We want to thank the Government and Embassy of Japan, as well as the international cooperation agency JICA, for the help and joint resilience in such difficult times for the country."
Also, Japanese Ambassador to Ukraine Matsuda Kuninori expressed his admiration for pyrotechnicians and sappers who tirelessly clear Ukrainian land of explosive objects.
Today, the transferred machines will be sent to Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions to perform the necessary tasks.
I sure wish they had done this a couple of weeks ago.
