These Ukrainian Defenders were completely surrounded by Russians for 70 days, but held their positions.

In the photo: a combined group of warriors from the 225th Separate Mechanized Brigade and the 223rd Marine Battalion who had been in position for 70 days without rotation.

"The operation to break through the logistics route to the guys who were surrounded lasted more than 2 months. While we were trying to clear the way, the fighters held a circular defense, repelling the occupiers' attacks around the clock. The only way to supply them was through drones, which we used to deliver ammunition, food and water," the 225th Battalion said in a statement.

Despite being wounded and under constant pressure from the enemy, the Defenders held their position and were sent for rotation as soon as possible.

Glory! Glory! Glory!

The SSJ that crashed in the Moscow region carried gas workers all over the country and had been doing so successfully since 2015. But something went wrong during the repairs and now the commission will have to find out what exactly. Oleg Smirnov, Chairman of the Civil Aviation Commission of the Public Council of Rostransnadzor, told Zvezda about this.

He noted that this particular SSJ was manufactured back in 2014 and is 75% made up of Western components. Now, due to sanctions, it is quite difficult to repair them.

At the same time, Smirnov emphasized that the plane was flown by an experienced crew and there can be no complaints about it.

"Kyiv is preparing to destroy the dams of the Kyiv and Kaniv reservoirs" - Russian foreign ministry spokesperson Zakharova.

This is a favorite Russian tactic of the Russians - to accuse Ukraine of a crime Russia is planning to commit. This was the case when the Kakhovka HPP dam was blown up.

The destruction of Kyiv hydroelectric power plant is one of the favorite scare stories of Z-propagandists.

The head of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Zakharova once again made provocative statements.

" Kyiv is preparing to destroy the dams of the Kyiv HPP and the Kaniv Reservoir, this will be another cynical provocation against the Russian Federation ."

Although Sakharova's statement looks like an attempt to provide Russia with an alibi before a terrorist attack, the Center for Combating Disinformation believes that the statement is an attempt by the Kremlin to cause panic, fear and confusion amongst the Ukrainian public.

Together with planted narratives about "peace at any price" they hope for Ukraine to de-facto capitulate, according to the Center.

Mystery dead of putin generals: he was set to become key witness in Kremlin corruption scandal

A Putin army general seen to be a key witness in a major corruption scandal engulfing the Russian defence ministry has died "suddenly", according to Mirror media outlet.

İt is noted that Magomed Khandayev, 61, was head of the State Expertise Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defence. He was subordinate to deputy defence minister Timur Ivanov, 48, who was dramatically arrested on suspicion of £9 million corruption schemes and remains in custody.

Khandayev was seen as a key witness in a corruption scandal shrouding the Russian defence ministry amid Putin's illegal war against Ukraine.

His body was flown to Moscow to his home region of Dagestan for burial, according to reports. The cause of Khandayev’s death has not been specified. According to Russian media, Khandayev had a "close connection with high-ranking officials whose activities have recently attracted the attention of law enforcement agencies."

It added: His death raises questions, especially against the backdrop of recent ‘clean-ups’ among senior leaders of the Ministry of Defence related to corruption scandals.

"The death of the general will certainly become a convenient occasion for those who seek to cover up the traces of corruption schemes in the Ministry of Defence." "Now that Khandayev, who potentially has important information, can no longer testify, many cases may be closed or reconsidered, thereby avoiding further investigations and possible charges against high-ranking officials." Khandayev now joins an array of unexplained deaths of leading Russian figures since the start of the war against Ukraine.

Previously he had served as General Director of the Main Directorate of Special Construction. “He was one of the influential figures in the construction of Ministry of Defence facilities throughout the country,” said a source. The cause of Khandayev’s death has not been specified. His body was flown to Moscow to his home region of Dagestan for burial, according to reports. He held a string of state honours including the Order of Alexander Nevsky
