Viktor Kotsar, 58, lived in the village of Yevhenivka in the Mykolaiv region. He worked as a reinforcer.
He was an active member of a dance group, drama, pop and brass bands, and the Kozatskyi Predzvyn male folk ensemble.
In his spare time, he loved to fish and go hunting with his friends.
Viktor was a member of a volunteer unit of hunters and residents of the village of Yevhenivka.
On 12 March 2022, Viktor Kotsar was killed while holding back an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group of fifteen people in a cordoned-off area.
At first, the man was reported missing. Only on 28 April 2022, after a lengthy search in the then-occupied territory, his body was found 50 metres from Viktor's position.
The man is survived by his wife, two adult sons and grandchildren.
The russians claim that the armed forces of Ukraine have advanced 25 km deep into the territory of the russian federation in the Kursk region.
They also express concern about the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant (NPP), saying that the management of the Kursk NPP does not have a plan in case of an attack by the Armed Forces. "The administration of the power plant does not know where to hide the workers in case of missile danger.", they claim.
"Important Histories" write that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are now 76 km from the station. The city of Kurchatov, where the Kursk NPP is located, was attacked by drones overnight.
The Russian bureau of "Radio Liberty" reported that fighting is currently ongoing in the city of Sudzha.
Allegedly, the Armed Forces of Ukraine may be capturing the gas measuring station through which the main gas pipeline passes that is used for supply to countries in the European Union. According to enemy channels, the only remaining gas pumping point for Gazprom through Ukrainian territory was under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces as of 13:00 Moscow time.
Gazprom pumps approximately 40 million cubic meters of gas daily for export through the Sudzha station. This fuel is delivered to Austria, Slovakia and Hungary and provides approximately half of Gazprom's supplies to Europe. The remaining gas is purchased by European countries through Turkey via the Turkish Stream pipeline.

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Criticizes Calls to Lift Anti-Russian Sanctions
Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Gabrielius Landsbergis addressed calls by Russian oppositionists to cancel anti-Russian sanctions, emphasizing the complicity of ordinary Russians in the war against Ukraine.
"I hear conversations about the innocence of ordinary Russians, but then I see how ordinary Russians kill ordinary Ukrainians," Landsbergis stated.
"I see ordinary Russian mothers saying goodbye to their sons, wishing them success in their war crimes. I see parents dressing their children in military uniforms, drawing the letter Z on cardboard tank suits. I see crowds forming the letter Z in public squares.
Simple Russia is sick. Healing will be long and arduous and will only begin when Russia, not just Putin, is defeated.
Regarding 'unfair' sanctions against 'ordinary Russians,' anything that slows down the Russian military machine will have the support of ordinary Lithuanians, no matter the cost of victory. Glory to Ukraine!" Landsbergis wrote on the social network X.

Last week, information appeared that 55-year-old Oleksandr Ishchenko from Azov died after spending more than two years in Russian captivity.
He did not just die, he was murdered - deputy commander of Azov brigade, Sviatoslav Palamar, published the results of a forensic medical examination and a certificate of the cause of death. The documents say that the death was caused by multiple rib fractures, shock and a closed blunt chest injury due to "contact with a blunt instrument."
"This is not just another cynical violation of the Geneva Convention by the Russians. This is a blow to human honor and dignity, to international law," Palamar said.

Oleksandr Ishchenko, Warrior from Azovstal who was in Russian captivity for more than two years, died in a Russian prison.
Oleksandr Ishchenko was 55 years old. In February 2022, he joined the Azov Brigade as a military driver. In the spring of that year, he was captured by the Russians in Mariupol. Russia illegally initiated a "criminal case" against him and 23 other Ukrainian prisoners of war.
Deepest condolences to Oleksandr's family. What a tragedy. And how many more tragedies will happen because Russia does not stick to any conventions on treating prisoners of war.
