AUKUS FINALLY SHOWS SOME ADVANCES
The United States has finally agreed to a major policy and administration change in the way the country shares its military equipment with the UK and Australia.
Some 80% of American made weapons and components will no longer need a licence for purchase and export by the two allies. The other 20% will still need a licence and includes missile guidance systems and items specifically defined by congress. Overall it’s a huge advance in the often bureaucratic and complex licensing process. A single licence can take a month or more to process and the backlog is considerable, so this makes a big difference.
Australia and the UK have reciprocated - the US buys around £5 billion in licensed British equipment a year and around £630 million in Australian.
Australia is also set to begin joint production of shells and army missiles with the US - this will ease that process greatly.
The Americans know they still have a lot of work to do to make the administration and process of technology transfers between the allies a simpler and refined process. Their resistance goes back to the Cold War and even now they remain largely obsessed with technology security - it’s a major Chinese espionage target, both human and cyber.
In any event all parties recognise huge progress has been made in relatively short time, so there’s a good deal of international back slapping going on.
AUKUS it seems is actually moving in the right direction.

📈 During the year of operation of the maritime corridor, Ukraine exported more than 64 million tons of products. Moreover, almost 44 million tons are grain.
⚠️🚢 2 379 vessels
🌐 46 countries of the world
🏗 64.4 million tons – total cargo turnover
🌾 43.5 million tons – products of Ukrainian farmers
🕛 Work around the clock.
The temporary sea route, also known as the "Ukrainian Corridor", is one year old. On August 16, 2023, the first blocked vessel, the JOSEPH SHULTE, used the temporary corridor established by the Ukrainian Navy for merchant ships.
Now, more than 2,300 ships exported Ukrainian goods to 46 countries of the world. This was achieved thanks to the successes of the Defense Forces in the Black Sea, the restoration of Ukrainian ports and war risk insurance for merchant ships.

The parents of a captured russian soldier supposedly did not recognize their own son. Even when he showed them his tattoos, they refused to admit it was him!! How would the son feel?!
Let's face it, mum has already booked a hotel in Yalta for a month, and dad has pre-ordered a Lada Granta, they even bought a dacha, in short, the old people spent 5 million and buried their son with honours. And Roma is alive, damn it! 🤣

👾 The developer of nuclear munitions was paralyzed - details of a new cyber operation in russia
🤝 Cyber specialists of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine together with the hacker group "VO Team" worked productively near Chelyabinsk and paralyzed the work of an enterprise that develops nuclear weapons of the aggressor state of russia.
✔️ As a result of a successful attack on the only provider in the city of Snezhinsk, Chelyabinsk region of the russian Federation - the company "Vega" - its 1173 switches and 10 servers were disabled. Information on Vega servers is destroyed.
👉 A number of strategic enterprises of the city remain without Internet and communication services for almost a week.
☑️ Among them is "VNIITF" (All-russian Research Institute of Technical Physics). This is a russian nuclear munitions developer that was only connected to the Vega provider.
❗️ A successful attack in the cyberspace of the aggressor made it possible to obtain personal data of employees and an array of other documents of the specified plant, which is under sanctions.
☝️ The obtained information, in particular, makes it possible to establish mechanisms for circumventing sanctions and the persons involved in it.
🔥 As a result of the cyber operation, there was also a threat of disrupting the state defense order of the aggressor, as evidenced by the comments in the local publications of Snezhynsk.
🦉 The cyber hunt for russia continues!
🇺🇦 Glory to Ukraine!

Medical cannabis has been legalized in Ukraine . Here are the main changes.
🔴 Cannabis can be used for medical purposes.
🔴 Medicines based on it will be sold by prescription in licensed pharmacies.
🔴 Every transaction with medical cannabis will be registered in an electronic system.
🔴 The National Police will strictly control the cultivation of this plant, the production and sale of medicines based on it.
Medical cannabis differs from ordinary cannabis by its lower content of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), a substance that causes a feeling of euphoria, changes consciousness and behavior. Instead, it is rich in cannabidiol, which relieves pain, relaxes, improves sleep and appetite.
The Ministry of Health writes that cannabis is effective for the treatment of chronic pain, arthritis, rheumatism, epilepsy, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases, etc.

GERMANY HAS GIVEN SO MUCH. Germany gave up several of their own anti-missile Patriot batteries. Thank you Germany.
🇩🇪 A German media outlet reported that Germany's military aid to Ukraine will be limited in the near future. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry called the statement manipulative
The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung writes that Germany is suspending the allocation of new funds to help Ukraine. This means that the amount of aid will not exceed €8 billion allocated for this year and €4 billion for the next year.
Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Heorhiy Tykhyi explained that the budget process is currently underway in Germany. According to him, the budget is to be approved in November, and only then will the level of support for Ukraine in 2025 be known. He also recalled that Germany initially allocated only €4 billion for Ukraine this year, and later the amount doubled.

'SECRET’ CEASEFIRE TALKS ENDED
It’s being alleged that secret ceasefire talks have ended as Ukraine presses on in Kursk.
The Russians use the circular argument that as long as Ukraine persists in Kursk they won’t talk- but it’s OK if they press ahead on the Eastern Front while talks continued. Is it any wonder the talks were going nowhere? Besides they didn’t want them to come to anything anyway.
From ‘The Analyst’ (Military & Strategic) X: MilStratOnX
MORE NEWS ON THE PEACE TALKS
Apparently the Qataris were the centre of efforts for a partial ceasefire agreement. It would not have stopped fighting but it would have stopped any further attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure. Ukraine has lost 9Gw of the 18Gw it needs to get through the rough parts of winter. As it stands electricity will only be available at peak times for 7 hours a day. If they lose more things decline rapidly.
In exchange Russia wanted an end to the attacks on oil refineries and its own energy grid - which gives you an insight into how much of an effect those attacks have had.
The wider concept of a full ceasefire was never really on the cards - Ukraine wanted the Russians to withdraw completely and the Russians wanted Ukraine to surrender land that Russia hadn’t even occupied. They could not have been further apart.
Then came Kursk and the Russians said they would not send their delegation. Ukraine still wanted to talk but the Qataris said it was pointless. Since then Russia has said it won’t talk as long as Ukraine is in Kursk, something Putin has said publicly.
So we now have yet another cloud over the purpose of the Kursk offensive.
Ukraine had managed to inflict so much damage on Russian refineries that the Russians were ready to stop attacking Ukrainian energy grid systems and civilian targets.
That now won’t happen.
Analytically we can see the Ukrainians have a powerful retaliatory weapon in their drone capabilities if Russia does attempt to strike the energy grid again. They could ramp up their own attacks and do even more. So have they reached a state of deterrence informally?
The only advantage of formalising a deal to not attack key infrastructure would be a trust building exercise that might lead to the wars end.
Right now that is as far away as it’s ever been.
Andriy Boyarsky came from Odesa. For a long time he worked as an investigator in the Bilyaiv district police department. He had the rank of captain.
On March 15, 2024, the Russian army killed Andrii in Odesa. That day the enemy launched rockets from the temporarily occupied Crimea.
At the time of the tragedy, Andrii Boyarsky was serving in the National Police of Ukraine. That day he performed his official duties. In addition to Andriy, another 20 people died as a result of the attack.
The deceased is survived by his parents, wife and three-month-old daughter. Andrii is remembered as a bright, kind and sensitive person.
Ukrainian bank Monobank has been attacked for the third day in a row
According to the co-founder Oleg Horokhovskyi, DDoS attacks are almost non-stop - 5.5 billion requests have already been recorded.
"The situation is under control, but the scale is amazing," he wrote on his Telegram page.
Note: The bank can still be used and the situation is under control. The protection against the attack is so far working. There could be slowdowns experienced for some users.
