Gotta run. Who knows how long just to find the place once I get to National Street. It's a main street lined with medical for several miles

Good morning. Only here for a minute. Here is a very good reputation of Don-old's lies about Afghanistan. He made the mess.

Freudian slip? Military service ad with Ukrainian fighter hung in Kursk in russia

Posters have appeared on the streets of Kursk in russia calling on locals to serve under contract in the Russian army, but it turns out that they depict a soldier in a Ukrainian uniform.

The photo was taken by photographer Vadim Girda for the Associated Press during the evacuation from Irpen in early March 2022.

Following the reaction on the Internet, Kursk Mayor Igor Kutsak reported that the acting head of the Committee for Architecture and Urban Development, Dmitry Kazimirik, was reprimanded "in connection with flagrant negligence in the production and placement of a military-patriotic banner."

Or maybe this is not the negligence of a local official at all? Maybe he was just looking at soldiers in the Kursk region and saw the uniforms that they wear?

The Freedom of Russia League would be happy to accept any right-minded russians who are inspired by the advertisement!

⚡️There are unconfirmed reports that the Shaikovka airfield (Kaluga region of russia) and the Khalino airfield (Kursk region of russia) were attacked

Tu-22M3s usually take off from Shaikovka, and Shaheds are launched from Khalino.

Viktoriia Honcharuk returned to Ukraine from the United States and joined the Hospitallers Medical Battalion.

She was accepted into Harvard but "Harvard can wait."

DRAGON DRONES AT LIPTSY

The introduction of the Dragon Drone at Liptsy now has its backstory.
Liptsy on the western section of the Kharkiv front lies in lowland with the Russians controlling the hills that extend right up to the residential area.
The Ukrainians spotted the Russians preparing for another offensive against the town in the heavily wooded areas of the hills and decided to stop them before they could launch.
The 13th Border Guards planned a first light attack and their armoured vehicles attacked the forest as the first rays of the sun came up. The initial assault went brilliantly and the Russians were quickly sent fleeing, targeted by drone guided precision artillery fire.
The harder part of the operation was getting the Russians out of their trenches in the forest.
For this the Ukrainians deployed an especially nasty weapon, the new ‘Dragon Drone’. Spewing a rain of thermite along the lengths of the trenches, the fire from the drones quickly ignited the Russian trenches causing the enemy to flee - before long the whole section of high ground targeted and more besides was Russian free and a significant part of the high ground recaptured.
It’s not a nice weapon and not one I’m delighted to see introduced. But Ukraine is fighting Russia, a Russia that uses chlorine gas attacks and thermobarics, and kills civilians like it doesn’t matter, so my moral objections I’ll happily swallow for now. In war, ultimately, there are no rules.
The effects can be seen in the photos.

Eternal Memory

Yuriy Magera was a musician and arranger. For more than 30 years, he worked in the field of culture in the Kostyantyniv community in Donetsk region.

He was talented, bright and charismatic. He always smiled, loved to joke.

"Yuriy Petrovych knew how to transform sounds into living emotions, giving joy and inspiration. His music was an echo of his soul - big, open, full of love. Happy moments come to life in memories: rehearsals, conversations, recordings in the studio," said colleague Kristina Vasyliuk.

Yuriy died in Kostyantynivka on September 5, 2024, when he was hit by a Russian projectile. The man was 74 years old.

"We have lost a friend who knew how to give light even in the darkest times. A mentor who could see talent," added Kristina Vasyliuk.

France, Germany and UK call export of Iranian ballistic missiles to Russia 'direct threat to European security' and issues joint statement on sanctions against Iranian aviation.

France, Germany and the United Kingdom have issued a joint statement.

The three countries condemned the export of Iranian ballistic missiles to Russia and said they will be taking immediate steps to cancel bilateral air services agreements with Iran. They also said they will pursue the designations of significant entities and individuals and will work towards imposing sanctions on Iran Air.

The governments of France, Germany, and the United Kingdom strongly condemn Iran’s export and Russia’s procurement of Iranian ballistic missiles. This is a further escalation of Iran’s military support to Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine and will see Iranian missiles reaching European soil, increasing the suffering of the Ukrainian people. This act is an escalation by both Iran and Russia, and is a direct threat to European security.

The E3 has privately and publicly been clear that we would take new and significant measures against Iran if the transfers took place. We now have confirmation that Iran has made these transfers. We will be taking immediate steps to cancel bilateral air services agreements with Iran. In addition, we will pursue the designations of significant entities and individuals involved with Iran’s ballistic missile programme and the transfer of ballistic missiles and other weapons to Russia. We will also work towards imposing sanctions on Iran Air.

The E3 are closely coordinating our strong response to these transfers with our European and international partners. We call on Iran to immediately cease all support to Russia’s war against Ukraine and halt the development and transfers of its ballistic missiles.

The British foreign secretary, David Lammy, called the supply of ballistic missiles from Iran to Russia a “significant escalation”.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, at a press conference in London alongside his UK counterpart David Lammy, said the US plans to detail its sanctions package later Tuesday, including new measures against state-owned Iran Air.

The White House said that dozens of Russian military personnel have been trained in Iran to use a close-range ballistic missile system and that there is a risk of miscalculations and missiles hitting outside Ukraine.

Andriy Yermak, head of the Ukrainian president’s office, has said that “sanctions against Iran for supplying ballistic missiles to Russia are a positive step.”

But he added: “We also need authorization to use Western weapons against military targets on Russian territory, the provision of longer-range missiles, and the enhancement of our air defense systems.”

Russian far-right and neo-Nazi paramilitary group Rusich claims it has entered into an official agreement with Russian FSB Border Service intended to “conduct on intelligence activities and border strengthening along the Finnish border.”

According to Ilta-Sanomat, there have been notable movements by both the FSB and the Rusich group around the Saimaa Canal area. The Rusich group, which has been linked to the Wagner Group of paramilitary forces in Russia’s war in Ukraine, announced on Telegram that their role involves reconnaissance and border fortification efforts with the FSB. They have stated that their presence is to "reinforce the Finnish border."

The Rusich group has posted images of their activities near the Rättijärvi lock in the Saimaa Canal, located a few kilometers from the Finnish border.
The Saimaa Canal, which connects Lappeenranta in Finland with the Baltic Sea at Vyborg (Viipuri in Finnish), is currently closed due to sanctions imposed on Russian Railways.

The Rusich group, known for its far-right ideology, has been accused of war crimes in Ukraine. Yan Petrovsky, a leader of Rusich, is currently detained in Finland following a conviction for immigration offenses. Finnish prosecutors are considering whether to bring additional war crime charges against him.

Russian media have stated that this move could be in response to Finland’s efforts to construct a fence along the border.
