Russia ‘fully ready’ for Arctic war with NATO

“The Arctic is not the territory of the North Atlantic alliance,” Kremlin Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov warns.

Russia is “fully ready” for a conflict with NATO in the Arctic, the country's foreign minister warned.

"We see NATO stepping up drills related to possible crises in the Arctic," Sergey Lavrov said, according to Russian state media, in comments for a documentary series that were first reported Friday.

"Our country is fully ready to defend its interests militarily, politically and from the standpoint of defense technologies," he added.

Finland joined NATO in April last year in response to Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine and Sweden followed suit in March this year, becoming the alliance’s 31st and 32nd members, respectively.

Even so, Lavrov warned that “the Arctic is not the territory of the North Atlantic alliance,” and said other, non-Arctic countries, such as China and India, hold interests there.

One of Moscow’s top diplomats said last year that Finland would be “the first to suffer” if war broke out between NATO and Russia.

Estonia to install buoys with blades on water border with Russia

The Estonian Police and Border Guard Board is preparing to install a chain of buoys with blades on the water border with Russia, the agency's deputy director general Veiko Kommusaar told the Estonian National Broadcasting Company. "The system is designed in such a way that if someone tries to cross this water infrastructure, there will be little left of their boat or vehicle," Kommusaar noted. At the same time, it will not be possible to climb over these buoys either: "they move the person back to where they came from," he explained.

The RPA will allocate one million euros for the pilot project, which is scheduled to last three years. Testing will begin in 2025.

Next year, Estonia will also begin building a defensive line on the border with Russia, which will include 600 bunkers, said Kadi-Kai Kollo, head of the infrastructure department at the state center for defense investments. According to her, the experience of Ukraine was taken into account when drawing up the requirements for the defensive structures.

According to estimates, 60 million euros will be spent on the construction. The defensive line will include anti-tank obstacles and a barbed wire fence.

Taiwan's FM: 'If Russia can do that to Ukraine, China might do the same to Taiwan'

The start of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine was a wake-up call for Taiwan, with the island nation believed to be the next conflict zone in case of Kyiv’s defeat.

Two years in, Taiwanese Foreign Minister Joseph Wu still believes that the island’s future is dependent on the war in Ukraine. Officials from across the aisle believe that Beijing will aim to “reunite” the two Chinas by force if Russia succeeds in Ukraine.

Minister Wu said that international response is key to preventing authoritarian states from expanding further. He stressed that allowing them to get what they want would only leave them hungry for more.

“If you look at the Russian aggression against Ukraine, it didn’t start in 2022 – it started in Georgia (in 2008) and it started in Crimea (in 2014),” Wu said. “And because the Western countries did not help Ukraine in stopping Russia at the time, (Russian President) Vladimir Putin was encouraged to do it.”

👀Meanwhile, in Bryansk, the “Kremniy El” plant has suspended production following a drone attack on the night of October 19.

The incident disrupted the power supply and damaged production lines. Restoration of the facility may take some time due to difficulties in acquiring the necessary equipment.

It is worth noting that “Kremniy El” products are used in military industries, particularly in the development of “Pantsir” air defense systems and “Iskander” missile complexes.

Medvedev announced plans to achieve the collapse of the United States and threatened to "exterminate humanity"

The goal of Russia's foreign policy is the disintegration of the United States or the creation of a counterweight to America, and among its tasks is "the maximum weakening and humiliation of the West, including Europe," said Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev.

"There can only be one goal - the collapse of the United States itself. Or - at a minimum - the creation of a full-fledged counterweight to America, as was the case during the existence of the USSR and the Warsaw Pact. And here the prospects for a new balance are already visible: the SCO, BRICS, other regional unions, the comprehensive development of relations with the countries of the Global South," Medvedev wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to him, the alternative to such a balance of power is "total war until the complete extermination of humanity." "A world without balance in today's conditions will not last even a decade. If the West does not realize this simple truth, it will be the end for everyone. And this is not a situation where the death of some will mean the victory of others..." - concluded the deputy chairman of the Security Council.

Earlier, Medvedev called for every day to try to inflict "maximum harm" on the US and its allies for the sanctions they imposed on Russia and its citizens. In particular, he spoke of the need to "destroy" the energy, industry, transport, banking and social services of Western countries.

🇺🇸 If Ukraine falls under Putin's boot, then all of Europe will fall, - Austin

"If Ukraine falls under Putin's boot, all of Europe will fall from Putin's push.

Putin is not just destroying the norms of the international system built at such terrible cost by the Allies after World War II. He's pushing us all into a world war where might wins, where empire trumps sovereignty," Austin said.

According to the head of the Pentagon, Russian dictator Putin wants to show that his autocracy can survive world democracy, but he is wrong.

- He is only wrong if we make him wrong! Deep strikes now!

She is right. Someone posted a notice from management. Closed it just for him. All the "customers" were MAGA .
