Sammie and I are awake.

Zelensky:

Today, Chancellor Scholz visited Ukraine. We had an extensive discussion – one of the longest bilateral meetings, in a special format, lasting more than two and a half hours. We covered all the topics that matter for our countries.

The main focus was air defense and strengthening our protection of the skies. Germany is already a leader in this area and, overall, in the support for Ukraine in Europe. On the continent, Germany is number one in terms of aid to Ukraine, having provided nearly €30 billion. This includes military support and aid to bolster our resilience.

I want to thank the Chancellor personally, as well as all of Germany – the entire German people – who stand so firmly with us. It is vital for Ukraine that the level of German support does not decrease in the future. This would be the most important and timely signal to all our other partners.

During my meeting with the Chancellor, we agreed that Germany will continue to support Ukraine as needed, regardless of what happens in global politics or how sentiments may shift.

Good morning Resisters everywhere. Too cold to sleep. Only Terror is sleeping well. A few feet from the wood stove.

A photo shared Sunday of the people who spent the last 5 years restoring Norte Dane Cathedral in Paris.

One of the Russian Z-milbloggers suggested dropping a high-explosive FAB-1500 aerial bomb on the protesters in Tbilisi.

Yes, thanks, we don't need any reminder how ruZZia deals with protests or free will.

No tangerines from Turkey
The country has sharply reduced the supply of tangerines to Russia.

Turkey, the largest supplier of tangerines to Russia, reduced supplies by 20% in January-October, RIA Novosti writes, citing data from the Turkish statistical service.

According to the Turkish side, there were no deliveries this year between June and September, while last year small batches arrived in these months. Deliveries resumed in October, but their volume was still below the level of 2023, having decreased by almost 29% and amounted to 35.200 tons.

At the end of November, the Parliamentary Newspaper wrote that Russians are waiting for a sharp jump in prices for tangerines. By the New Year holidays, they will rise in price by 20-30%. Among the reasons were a reduction in the harvest due to bad weather in Turkey and a weak ruble.
