🔥 Drones attacked Russia’s Engels in the Saratov oblast, causing a fire at an oil depot

Local residents reported at least 25 explosions. The governor confirmed the attack, stating that drone debris fell on an industrial facility. According to media reports, the fire broke out at the oil depot.

Near Engels is the Russian airbase of the same name, where Tu-160 and Tu-95MS strategic bombers are stationed, often used by Russia to attack Ukraine.

⚓️ Anchor of Eagle S Tanker Recovered—Suspected in Damage to Undersea Cables Between Finland and Estonia

The anchor, believed to have damaged undersea cables in the Gulf of Finland, was retrieved from a depth of approximately 80 meters and handed over to Finland for further investigation. It remains unclear where the anchor was found and whether it is intact.

▪️ On December 25, the EstLink 2 undersea cable between Finland and Estonia was severed. At the time, the Eagle S tanker, en route from Russia to Egypt, was in the vicinity. The tanker is part of Russia’s shadow fleet, and espionage equipment was reportedly found on board.
