lives on 10 acres in a sparsely populated area of the Ozarks. I heat with wood that is leftover by the lumber industry. When cutting oak for lumber only the trunk is used.

During '70s I saw LAPD murder a man on his front lawn. It was in Westwood, just a a few blocks from UCLA medical center (which does have a level I ER.)
The cops shot him and let him flop around on the ground, unattended, while they summoned an ambulance from downtown LA, at rush hour. Took more than an hour for it to arrive.
The victim, by then, was dead.
So the 22 minute delay in Memphis is not something new - it is, perhaps, a well practiced drill.

@Lady_Star_Gem i sure hope there’s a DOJ investigation already in progress. If The NY Times knew about it, Garland has known for a LONG time. My big prayer is all of this sh*t, from Russia to Ukraine to Jan 6 to the theft and hiding of classified docs., are all related and they get him on treason. 😉

I grew up in an observant (devout?) Muslim household. When I questioned my faith, my folks didn't ban books. They encouraged me to read books by Muslims AND non-Muslims—Christian, Jewish, atheist, or other. It was life changing. And it's a message I'm passing on to my children now, and one I hope they pass to their children when the time comes.
Parents: Trust your kids. Ban ignorance—not books.
