Iran is suspecting Ukraine of being behind the attack on the ballistic missile warehouse in Isfahan, according to a high-ranking political source in Tehran who informed reporters of this potential.
Rescuers from the Kyiv region in Ukraine saved a wounded fawn that had fallen onto the ice in the middle of a local reservoir. The fawn was likely running away from predators in the forest when it became exhausted and fell onto the ice. The rescuers pulled the baby to the shore and took it to a veterinary clinic for treatment. The Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kyiv Oblast was responsible for the rescue.

I signed up for a program that connects learners with boot camps. I received a call from the welcome team within 5 minutes. Ever since that phone call, I have received:
* 3 texts daily asking when I'm going to set up a consultation
* 5 emails a day asking the same
* 2 emails a day reminding me of the appointment
I signed up for the consultation on the first day.
My Gen-X embedded mentality is already thinking that the call with the consultant ain'tn't gonna go well. Not one bit.

It's no exaggeration that Ron DeSantis wants to kill people. I'm not putting a cw on this post about capital punishment. Stop here if you don't want to read more.
As societies mature, they move away from capital punishment. 23 states and DC have abolished the death penalty and 3 states have a moratorium.
The rest of the western democracies have stopped executing people. The leaders are China (by far), Iran, and Saudi Arabia.
DeSantis wants to be able to kill people for more reasons, and doesn't care that what he's doing is unconstitutional. Current law requires a unanimous jury to impose the death penalty, and there are few state crimes for which it can be imposed. (It can for federal crimes like terrorism and treason.) DeSantis doesn't care. He figures it can go to SCOTUS, which will overturn its own precedent.
It will probably result in more murders, because capital punishment for other crimes removes the incentive to not kill victims.
He's a monster.

I have been surrounded by gay, trans, and drag queens my whole adult life. Not once have I ever had to fear violence or harm from any of them, or had to have special training in case one came into my workplace. Meanwhile, I have been bullied and threatened by “Christians”, harassed by cops, and have to be trained out in case someone shows up at the office with an AR-15.
