North Texas is in the grip of an ice storm. Sleet, then freezing rain, then freezing temperatures. We won't be able to step out for a couple of days after that ... hopefully, it's the only storm this winter.

Photography was a form of self expression that writing could never capture for Nichols, who wrote it helped him look "at the world in a more creative way" on his photography site.

Tyre Nichols was a beautiful soul, whom I relate to as a photographer & a person who's a sucker for sunsets, I know how much seeing the sun set in the horizon meant to him, every day is a different sunset though it may look the same to some, every day is a miracle of nature, of life.

Last Saturday was the official once-a-year quasi-holiday quintessential company party at the Museum of Flight. I'm pretty sure that this will be the last corporate event of my career. Sad, not sad. It was nice to loaf around the museum with my wife, which was the best part, actually. #MuseumofFlight #museum #airplanes #Boeing #Seattle #PNW #flight #history

Even as Russia carries out the worst European atrocity of the century with literally thousands examples of rapes and other war crimes.

There are only two types of people: People who despise Putin and people who want to be Putin. Not tough to figure out which Trump is!

The problem is not just that Trump sided with Putin over U.S. officials. It's that the Republican *keeps* siding with the Russian leader over U.S. officials. on.msnbc.com/40aN3XD

A MiG-31K fighter jet took off from the Savasleyka military airfield in Russia.

We are currently having some difficulty in determining the exact location of the MiG takeoff. We are working to resolve this issue, and we appreciate your patience. Our colleagues from Hajun_BY are visually and audibly recording the MiG-31K takeoff. The potential danger remains regardless of whether the MiG takes off in Belarus or over Russian territory.

The alarm was triggered for the same reason as the two before it - the MiG-31K taking off. The takeoff location is being identified. Furthermore, Belarusian observers have reported that the A-50U did not land in Belarus, so the location of the air defense system is being determined.
