For example, Vladivostok is now being referred to as Haishenwai, Khabarovsk as Boli, Sakhalin Island as Kuedao, and the Stanovy Ridge as Outer Xinggang Ridge. The idea that the Chinese people lost 1.7 million square kilometers of territory due to unequal treaties with Russia is being widely promoted.
