🇮🇷 Iran has confirmed that it has transferred missiles to Russia. An Iranian MP said that Tehran gives Moscow missiles and drones, and Moscow gives soybeans and wheat in return

He also added that the partnership with Russia helps Iran circumvent sanctions and receive foreign currency for arms sales.

Meanwhile, Iran's mission to the UN denied supplying missiles to Russia, and the Foreign Ministry said that Iran “has never been a part” of the Russian-Ukrainian war.

The WSJ newspaper wrote the day before that Iran had already transferred several hundred ballistic missiles to Russia.

⚡️ Russian POWs held in Ukraine no longer allowed to call relatives, ombudsman says.

Russian prisoners of war (POWs) held in Ukrainian camps are no longer allowed to make phone calls to their relatives, Ukraine's Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets announced on Sept. 7.

Lubinets said that the ban does not violate the Geneva Conventions, as Russian POWs can still send written letters to their families.

Russian UAV crashed in Latvia on Saturday.

According to the Latvian defence ministry, the incident occurred on Saturday in the Rezekne region in eastern Latvia.

The competent institutions are still investigating the event, but preliminary data indicates that a Russian military drone entered Latvian airspace from Belarus.

In accordance with established procedures, Latvian defence forces notified high-ranking government representatives, law enforcement officers, and NATO commanders.

As far as it is known, this is the first time a Russian military drone has violated Latvian airspace since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

In light of this, Latvia's Minister of Defence, Andris Sprūds, emphasised the importance of continuing the work initiated to fortify the country's eastern border, particularly the development of air defence capabilities and electronic warfare.

Latvian President Edgars Rinkevics emphasised the necessity of a unified reaction to incidents involving Russian drones, stating that "the number of such incidents on NATO's eastern flank is growing".

Lessons from Ukraine: How to Build a Global Brand in Times of Crisis

On Saturday, Sept 21, at the Weekend Media Festival in Croatia, Luc Chénier, CEO of Kyiv Post, will share insights on how crises can become catalysts for brands to grow and how Ukrainian businesses are doing this by becoming global players with influence.

"Today, Ukraine is not just a country but a global brand," Chénier believes.

In an era of instability and challenges, Ukraine sets the standard: Never giving up, moving forward, and becoming even stronger on the global stage.

Amid the war, with daily rocket and bomb attacks, Ukrainian businesses are showing that it is possible not only survive, but also to advance on the global stage under the harshest conditions.

The world's largest coat of arms of Ukraine and the inscription Glory to Ukraine

Good Morning!

Peskov promised that the announcement of a new mobilization in Russia is not under discussion.

Just like he promised there would be no mobilization previously. And that Russia wasn't going to attack Ukraine. A man of his word, definitely.

Too often it’s taken waves of frontline complaints to get attention to problems in the field and Ukraine clearly has a problem with old soviet era mentality trained officers who need retiring. They have no place in this war anymore.
It’s also a little bit damning that Kursk which has gained hectares of farmland, had the general staff’s attention while in effect the Pokrovsk front burned and was left to less than capable commanders. Now that’s been rectified - just about as last minute as you could manage. I can’t help but see the history books condemning Kursk not just as a strategic folly but as having been responsible in yet another way, for what’s gone on in the central front.
Thank god that sense and resolve has been restored to the centre and that Syrski I hope, has learned a valuable lesson about not taking his eye off the ball.
We can only be intensely grateful for the junior officers and frontline troops who have held the line despite terrible odds and conditions, who had the guts to speak up and save the day.

Volodymyr Terelyuk worked as an oncodermatologist in a private medical center in Kherson.

He had a higher category and about 30 years of experience. He was a bright, sensitive person and a highly qualified specialist.

The man was killed by Russia on September 2, 2024. Then the occupiers launched an attack from a drone on the Kindyika area.

"A wonderful person and a doctor from God. It is impossible to believe in this grief. It is impossible to realize that the life of such a wonderful person was taken away. I am grateful to have worked with you. We will never forget you," said colleague Tetyana Shahina.
