🇵🇱 ❗️❗️Poland shoots down drones violating its airspace for the first time — what’s known.

During Russia’s overnight attack on Ukraine on September 10, several drones entered Polish territory — fighter aircraft engaged them with weapons.

Poland’s Armed Forces Command called the incident “an act of aggression.” They reported that Polish and allied forces tracked dozens of targets on radar, some of which posed a potential threat.

Several drones were shot down, and searches for their crash sites are ongoing.

Amid the Russian attack, two airports in Warsaw and one each in Rzeszów and Lublin were temporarily closed.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said he informed NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte of the situation and remains in constant contact with him.
