More Changes to the Russian Military Command Recently
An insider of the Russian leadership recently mentioned the following changes:
The insider source claimed that the Russian MoD recently replaced Eastern Military District (EMD) Commander Colonel General Sergei Kuzmenko with Lieutenant General Alexander Sanchik and Southern Military District [SMD] Commander Colonel General Sergei Kuzovlev with Colonel General Gennady Anashkin in late March 2024.
The insider source claimed that former Western Military District (WMD) Commander Colonel General Yevgeny Nikiforov dropped out of an ongoing competition for the commander of the newly reformed Moscow Military District (MMD) and is now the Chief of Staff of the Russian Ground Forces.
The insider source did not offer claims about the command of the newly reformed Leningrad Military District [LMD], which is reportedly under the command of former Russian Ground Forces Chief of Staff Colonel General Alexander Lapin, or about the “Dnepr” Grouping of Forces, which is under the command of Russian Airborne (VDV) Forces Commander Colonel General Mikhail Teplinsky.
The insider source claimed that the Russian MoD also appointed Lieutenant General Alexei Podivilov to SMD Chief of Staff and that the role of EMD Chief of Staff is currently vacant.
*The Kremlin may have decided to change the leadership of the military districts in preparation for its expected summer offensive effort, which is forecasted to begin in late May or in June.*

UKRAINE CARRIES OUT WITHDRAWAL
Following the Russian spike offensive exploiting a Ukrainian rotational mistake, the salient as it’s now become, is the focus of endless Russian attacks. However they have turned to the north rather than push west.
This left a key Ukrainian settlement in an unviable position and the Ukrainians decided to carry out an offensive that covered their tactical withdrawal to better lines - and prevent themselves from being captured.
Using a mix of armour and drones with suppressing artillery fire - a notable use of it, suggesting the first aid is getting through, the Ukrainians managed to get away in an orderly manner with minimal losses. The same could not be said for the Russians who suffered major casualties. In fact they became so frustrated with the Ukrainian success and attacks they overloaded the area with artillery and glide bombs, almost inevitably on their own troops in places, but where the Ukrainians had already departed from.
As I said the other day, knowing when, how and where to retreat to in planned and orderly manner is just as vital as knowing how to attack. Crucially the Ukrainians also kept up pressure on Russian rear areas and logistics, ever making it easy for them.
In other news the use of 4 ATACMS on a rear area used for training which resulted in the deaths of at least 100+ soldiers was notable. Video shows at least 3 primary explosions and then the multiple detonation of cluster munitions. If Ukraine was willing to use as many as four missiles for that purpose it rather suggests they have a fairly significant influx of them. If you had just a handful you wouldn’t waste them on something that average. ATACMS also seems to be in use on Crimea, but Russian authorities have clamped down on anyone posting video of anything. The basic warning is if you post something we will find you and we will punish you.

On the air of Channel One they are not shy about declaring that the true goal of the invasion is the destruction of Ukrainians.
As “expert” Maryana Naumova stated, the ruZZian army has already killed a lot of people in Ukraine and Ukrainians will never forgive this.
Therefore, it is necessary to destroy Ukraine completely, and indoctrinate Ukrainian children with propaganda and “offer them some goodies.”

Former U.S. National Security Agency Employee Sentenced to 22 Years in Prison for Trying to Pass Classified Information to ruZZia. - press service of the US Department of Justice
Former U.S. National Security Agency employee Jareh Dalkey has been sentenced to 22 years in prison on charges of attempting to spy for ruZZia. He handed over a total of seven classified documents to FBI agents posing as ruZZian agents.
Dalkey worked for the NSA as an information systems security designer. In the summer of 2022, he transmitted excerpts from three classified documents to an undercover FBI agent he believed to be a russian agent via an encrypted email account. According to the court, he did this "to demonstrate his awareness and willingness to share information."
In August 2022, Dalkey requested $85K for further information. As a result, he handed over to the FBI agent four classified files and a letter that began with the words "My friends!" in russian. In the letter, Dalkey expressed his joy that he was able to share classified information with the ruZZians, and hope for further cooperation.
Dalkey was detained in 2023 and found guilty on six counts. He pleaded guilty and said that he hoped that the information he passed on would be used against the United States and in the interests of Putinistan.

My Columbine is up. If anything, I have too much. I planted four 80 cell seedling trays. I have to thin them with tiny scissors. The seeds are small and I ended up with between 4 and 20 per cell. So besides planting the little flower bed in front of my deck I will have to plant a bunch of other places.

In Sevastopol, a participant of the war with Ukraine kicked a girl in the face for refusing to dance the lezginka (Caucasus national dance) Local public pages reported on May 1st that a man approached unknown girls and demanded they dance the lezginka. They refused - he began to insult them, and then kicked one of them in the face.
The next day, an apology video from the man appeared on Z-channels.
According to Sergey Sigunov, the "chief of the Sevastopol police department," the attacker is a member of the "SVO" and was in the city on vacation. 'The material has been collected and sent to the military investigative committee because they were in the SVO zone, they came here for vacation,' local media quote him as saying.
Sevastopol public pages also write that the man allegedly is a member of the "Storm Z" formation.

Apparently, our fighters deliberately tracked them down
The video begins with footage taken by the enemy tank crew, showing hangars and a damaged piece of equipment. Towards the end of the video, this tank crashes into the destroyed vehicle and then it is hit after entering the hangar.
Three students from Russia have been arrested in Finland for violating sanctions.
According to Yle, the Finnish police detained three Russian citizens in the border city of Kajaani, who turned out to be two 25-year-old men and an 18-year-old woman. They are suspected of exporting dual-use goods, the export of which is restricted by local legislation. These are "luxury items that, in addition to civilian use, can also be used for military purposes - either as they are or as spare parts." Such goods may include smartphones, drones, sensors, lasers, etc.
Today, the district court of Kainuu city arrested the suspects. They face up to 4 years in prison.
It is noted that all the arrested individuals are students at a college in Kainuu.
The SBU exposed a fraudster who posed as an officer of the Security Service and swindled money from the families of Ukrainian prisoners
The Security Service eliminated another fraudulent scheme to extort money from relatives of Ukrainian prisoners of war and missing persons.
A local resident who posed as a member of the SBU "search group" was detained in Kyiv.
For 8-10 thousand US dollars, the swindler promised to "help" people looking for their loved ones. The amount depended on the emotional state of the "clients" and their ability to pay.
In order to be convincing, the person involved reported that he seems to have acquaintances in the authorities of the Russian Federation who decide on the issue of the return home of Ukrainian prisoners of war.
According to the investigation, the fraudster demanded from the victims to transfer money to his own bank cards, which were subsequently seized during the search.
After receiving the funds, he stopped communicating with his victims and did not contact them again.
Also, in the course of documenting criminal activity, it became known that he was posting false messages on social networks about collecting money for cars for Ukrainian defenders.
On the basis of the collected evidence, the investigators of the Security Service informed him of suspicion under Part 4 of Art. 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (fraud committed on a large scale).
The suspect is currently in custody. He faces up to 8 years in prison.
Comprehensive measures were carried out under the procedural guidance of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
We draw your attention to the fact that the issue of the release of prisoners of war is exclusively within the competence of state authorities.
