🌳 A square named after the Hero of Ukraine, scout Oleg Babii, will appear in the Lviv district of Sykhiv.
📃 The corresponding decision was adopted by the deputies of the Lviv City Council on July 4, 2024.
👤 Oleg Babii is an officer of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, who made 9 successful sorties into the deep rear of the enemy. Planned and coordinated 12 successful special operations involving representatives of the resistance movement in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. More than 70 strategic military facilities of the aggressor state were discovered on the lands captured by the Muscovites.
❗️ In August 2023, Oleg Babi's group covered 600 kilometers on foot to neutralize three Tu-22M3 strategic bombers on enemy territory: one was completely destroyed, two were damaged and disabled.
⚔️ On the way back, the group of scouts encountered the enemy. 33-year-old lieutenant colonel Oleg Babii covered the departure of his subordinates and died in a battle with russian invaders.

Media: russia to return fraudulently recruited Indian citizens
russia will discharge from service all Indians who have been forcibly or fraudulently mobilized into the russian army for the war in Ukraine.

Putin agreed to release all Indian citizens from military service after a meeting with the country’s prime minister in Moscow on July 9.
At least two Indians are known to have died during the war against Ukraine. However, the number of Indian citizens involved in the war in Ukraine may be much higher. In March of this year, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) of India exposed a human trafficking network that fraudulently trafficked people to russia for forced labor.
According to the investigation, a group of people, including three russian nationals, recruited Indians on the pretext of getting admission to private universities in russia. After reaching russia, the passports of these Indians were taken away and they were forced to fight the russian side against their will.

The UN called the shelling of a children's hospital in Kyiv "one of the most egregious attacks" of the entire full-scale invasion
"The analysis of the video footage and the assessment carried out at the scene of the incident indicate a high probability that the children's hospital suffered a direct hit and was not damaged by the air defense system," said Daniel Bell, head of the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine, at a press briefing in Geneva.
According to Bell, there were about 670 children and about 1,000 employees at the hospital at the time of the attack.
She also said it was "one of the most egregious attacks we've seen since the full-scale invasion began" in February 2022.
Today, the UN Security Council will hold a meeting to discuss the shelling of "Okhmatdyt". Russia is a permanent member, chairing the Security Council, and can veto the resolutions of this UN body.
The Russian strike on Kyiv's hospitals was precisely calculated. The Kremlin deliberately targeted Kyiv's crucial children's hospital. This is an intentional war crime.

Putin says: your leaders are weak, they can do nothing, you can end up as bad as Ukraine. The NATO summit will not change anything. The U.S. has lost its leadership. I broke the system of international law and introduced the law of force.
Today it is very clear that there is very little time left to stop Putin. If this does not happen, there will be completely new rules in the world. The ones by which Ukraine is now surviving and dying.
Russia demonstrates these "new rules of the world order" in Ukraine - obey or die.
