I am a 73 year old Covid hermit who
lives on 10 acres in a sparsely populated area of the Ozarks. I heat with wood that is leftover by the lumber industry. When cutting oak for lumber only the trunk is used.

The update.
Well, I don't go four wheeling with our truck. Ever.
This time it felt like the best way to retrieve the plastic pipe.
I bundled my husband up and took him along to advise, only
It was pretty easy to get down to the beach. I stood the pipe up and tipped it into the bed. Secured with bungee cords it wasn't going anywhere.
Unfortunately, coming back up the incline to the road I went straight instead of sideways and high centered.
Good thing that Summer and I could both work to dig the truck out. I let some air out of the tires and found driftwood to put under each tire. I was able to back up and take the hill at a sharper angle.
Success.
My daughter said we should have asked for help. It turned out we did fine on our own.
Guess we still got it.

My nephew's wife, Abby, learned to knit off the internet during the pandemic. She made these for my mother-in-law (her grandmother-in-law) this year for Christmas, and I am absolutely blown away by the level of detail.
(The photograph looks like one is slightly bigger, but that is a trick of the camera - in real life they are the same size!)
