We are having Litti Chokha, a famous dish from Bihar.
Litti is a dough ball made up of whole wheat flour and stuffed with Sattu (roasted chickpea flour) mixed with herbs and spices and then roasted over coal or wood.
In western Bihar and eastern Uttar Pradesh litti is served with murgh korma (a creamy chicken curry) or chokha (a vegetable preparation of roasted and mashed eggplant, tomato, and potato)
When cooked, one breaks litti into half and pours hot clarified butter(ghee) on it.
Enjoy!

@_lunawinters i had this once in Bangalore. It was very hard to chew. I had 2 pieces and thought 'i am never eating this again'. No offense..

@raining_night many people don't actually know how to make these. That's sad that you had a bad experience.
