@TruthSandwich @light I still just see a person making decisions we both see as wrong.
If you let anyone just label themselves as something they are not or no longer, the result will always be that any group can be cast as bad by someone maliciously declaring themselves to be a part.

I do not see any use for that horseshoe. To see that what us democrats do is not good enough to actually improve anything needs no horseshoe. And calling the party in its entirety "left" is just absurd. US americans lack perspective there.

Is having shares in a company that you are not affected by morally wrong?
Why/why not?

@Hyolobrika Oops, sorry. I assumed the video was just describing what blackrock does, i am generally familiar with the problem so i didn't watch it.

@OpenComputeDesign @light @TruthSandwich I don't think there should be belief in named movements in general.
Each group should be evaluated individually and judged based on its actions.

Seems the internet just produces more work for us, letting numerous groups come to our attention and thus demanding the work of figuring out if they are genuinely what they say or not.

The older i get, the better a tiny house in the middle of the forest sounds.

@Hyolobrika @meso I did not mean to say owning the workplace was bad. It is actually a very good idea in my opinion.

What made me comment about monopoly control is that first, it is something that is already promised, just not provided. Like don't start the hard stuff when fixing the easy stuff could provide results. Secondly, owning the workplace is a phrasing i am way more comfortable with, "market socialism" invites too many possible misinterpretations.

@light @TruthSandwich Yeah, that is counterproductive and can lead to me not considering someone to be helpful. Beside the fascists, there are people that have similar tendencies and purport to be "left", "enlightned" and such. Don't believe every self-labeling.

@light Makes sense, and ofc not every problem can be solved. So those should not count against you.

@light I was generally looking for "what is relevant", i would accept multiple causes. I just might see if those then can be traced to one underlying cause.

@TruthSandwich @light I looked up the first one, since as a non-us-citizen i know none of those people.
What i see on wikipedia (should generally be correct?) does nothing to convince me i would consider her "left".
This theory might be applicable among people that use "left" very liberally, but none of those people interest me. They won't do anything useful in any case.

Now Bernie for example, he has good ideas, by which i identify him as "left", and the theory does not fit at all.

If you insist on calling those others "left", we cannot use the word because i use a different definition.

So i repeat my question, "So?"

@OpenComputeDesign I can see the lack of compromise ("think they are right") amongst people that have little to say, yes. And fear surely is a powerful tool for those in power.

It is interesting how the perspective changes depending on who you ask. I usually look on a different level, this is a good reminder to not narrow my views.

On the well founded fear, i don't see many sources there. If people are brought into bad situations and then bad things happen, it's still only who brought on the bad situation i can reasonably hold responsible.

@OpenComputeDesign So tell me, what is the one primary problem we have? The thing stopping us from living in peace?

@OpenComputeDesign There is no need to follow.
Sir, Madam, weird blob. It makes no difference. You have the right idea, so why follow me?
If you have a good idea, just @ me and all is well. There is no need for me to be the one others "follow".

If you want people to get along, i like you.

So if you have any epiphany, i would love to hear, if you have an idea how we might get people to love instead of hate, out with it.

Shoot me all your ideas about what is wrong, what we could do.

We shall feel helpless together.

@admitsWrongIfProven Connect how? Is this like a "I need someone to talk to" type thing? Because if so, yes I'm _very_ lonely

@OpenComputeDesign We all are. The problem is we generally tend to hate stuff, and i have no idea how to turn that around. Are you down to stay on topic and further love? Like invest work to roll back all the hate?
