You are correct, but in this specific case the laws have not been changed yet, as far as i know.

If the changing is not according to legal process, you have a continuity problem and the "legal" you are doing is not actually covered by the democratic votes (if those are democratic, who knows *cough* gerrymandering *cough*)

So yeah, your wording is more robust in general.

@OpenComputeDesign I mean generally, nothing's perfect, nobody can deliver perfection.
But the "ship first, think later" mentality has taken over and makes this absurd. Plus the highjacking of updates for making stuff worse.
