It's unsettling enough that some services collect data about non-users, but "declaring someone part of something" unilaterally feels like assault. Basically adding insult to the injury of using up energy for nothing.

Ja, der Fetisch ist problematisch. Die Zeitschrift war allerdings auch vorher schon Schrott, sie hatten sich Microsoft angedient, bevor es von "Kryptowährung/Blockchain" zu "Spicy Autocorrect" umgeschwenkt ist.

If you teach that physical discipline is the way, i would expect the subjects of that to develop into requiring physical discipline, not only in the specific way that was taught, but in everything else too.
After all, the inner regulatory processes have no way to form.

If the reasonable discipline, by helping to understand the benefits of discipline, is missing, what remains is a fixation on the external stuff. Even if there is a need for boundaries, what would be reasonable still involves communication, not shackles, or am i off here?

It might be that philosophically, your answer is not the same entity as your inner self, but the interaction has, as far as i can know something outside myself, led to joy in my inner self.
