@geist "Haben Sie denn überhaupt genug Geld, um das so zu formulieren? Nicht vergessen: nur ihre Meinung ist frei, nicht die Formulierung, die kost extra."

@OhMyGod

@vriska I usually just announce those noodles being in the pot represent humanitys hope for survival and watch as people come from everywhere to remove them.

@renardboy Oh wait. Is the stuff legal to use in CA? I mean if not, the risk of resale would be minimal?

@renardboy Ah, that makes sense. Would have to break the seal and say it's probably tainted and not even that is really a guarantee.

@Alice That's some interesting math there. Subtract the fiber to get the total mass... has anyone tried to use that for levitation?

@light The two cases differ a lot. In the first, a near-monopoly development of not selling but renting software was exploited to hurt people (as far as i know, actually illegal content to be treated seperately). The second does not include anything harmful, only a not technologically sound proposal, which is excusable from people not involved in tech and not getting support (like for example politicians would get on state dime).

@light >What is written there implies a woman was treated as an object.
How so?

Well as you noticed, it is very short. The woman is subject to abortion laws, but nothing women could do would have any influence. That's object, not subject.

@catsalad Correct, it is not I as in me, it is U as in you, others. It's an AU.

A bit gross and silly

@DannyStaley Gold rush in the backwater parts of the body!

@light I think the article is misleading because it completely disregards women's agency.
The way to fewer abortion is scientifically correct sex ed and availability of contraceptives.
What is written there implies a woman was treated as an object.

The right to sever connections would spring from the impossibility to know if someone would be fit to be a parent, regardless of sex. As long as that cannot be determined with 100% accuracy (so never), forcing people would lead to harm to children.

Clicked a few other articles, seems this wiki is meaning to be misleading and i didn't find any source links at all, so it is patently an opinion, not anything else.

Btw i think the term "MRA" is very widely regarded as meaning "wanting rights for men, but no rights for women", so if you use that term you might get feedback based on something you, as i know you, do not support.

Probably too cynical, applying horrible word to horrible person

@interfluidity Hmm.

RFK makes a public resource not only unusable, but decidedly harmful.

RFK does not seem to care about correctness of his words or actions, so in a cynical way one could apply some very distasteful words to him while keeping with the same attention to correctness he does.

On top of all that, it seems en vogue to be antisemitic while claiming to be the opposite, so some reversal of terms is already happening. Maybe calling out nazis and nazi-adjacent people with nazi terms might be fitting?

What do you think about Brunnenvergifter? I can't find any reasonable translation, so maybe this nazi term got used as a loan word?

@VeroniqueB99 I'd say if people can't afford to drink away their sorrows, expect violence. But since violence is already commonplace 🤷

Happy second probibition ;-)
