Twitter really is a cesspit.
Getting off Twitter is easy, staying off Twitter is difficult.
My dream for Mastodon is for it to be a viable choice as a publishing platform for any creator. In other words, for people to not feel like they're locked in to Twitter or Instagram if they want to be professionally successful.
Twitter's really just fucking amazing. You can find anyone on here, even some dumbshit moron arguing that censorship is a good thing. Until his voice is cut off and then I'm certain he'll be rather pissy.
