Let's address the mammoth in the room: the fediverse, the network of mastodon servers, is very inefficient.
In this post I'll show:
Why it is Inefficient.
Why that isn't a problem.
And what we might do about it, when it becomes a problem.

Many criticasters jokingly compare the current rise of "Mastodon" with "next year will be the year of Linux".

But here's the thing: every year that a few people have success by using Linux is "the year of Linux".

Every person who can communicate with other people on mastodon is a clear win. Is success. Nothing more is needed.

The goal of such systems isn't to be "the biggest" or "grow 10% every year".
The goal is to offer value to people. Any amount of people.

Per cert, Greta com tothom, tindrà els seus punts forts o febles, però ha fet arribar el "bla, bla, bla...", o sigui, que les Coops i companyia no són més que xerrameca, més lluny que ningú. I això té molt de mèrit.

Jo puc pensar, sense tampoc conèixer en profunditat el seu pensament, que ella és més forta en la diagnosi (com en Turiel, etc.) que en les solucions, que realment són el complex, a on hi ha moltes possibilitats i cap senzilla. No em refereixo a les solucions en un tub d'assaig o una placa de petri, parlo de les que tinguin en compte en quin món vivim, qui té el poder, com funciona el mecanisme de perpetuació del poder, els engranatges del sistema econòmic, etc. etc.). I en això la Greta potser fa aigües, des del meu punt de vista, però com tants altres... I jo crec que igualment en el que ha sigut destacable, la conscienciació, la mobilització, la visibilització del problema, cal fer-li un reconeixement que en el meu cas, és majúscul.

I, al que anàvem: ella ja està al Fedivers. I valtros? A veure si tant de rollo i els puristes estareu a Twitter o Instagram; que això seria per cagar-se les calces...

Pd.: no parlo d'abandonar les xarxes capitalistes, que són útils per la divulgació entre el poble verge, sinó en, a més, anar construint el futur.

Twitodon https://twitodon.com/ serves as a connection point - if they have a mastodon and used Twitodon at any point, it'll recommend their mastodon profile to you. Even if they haven't, it'll register your twitter and mastodon association, so others can find *you* in the future.
There's also Fedifinder https://fedifinder.glitch.me/ that lets you check for the people you follow, and automatically extract any mastodon account mentioned in their Twitter profile.
