I’m a Teacher on medical leave/disability cuz I was infected early 2020 and subsequently developed a 10inch tumour (neoplasm) in my left breast. Then developed an autoimmune disease. My partner was also infected and now has type 2 diabetes, and he lost a toe to amputation because of an ingrown toenail. I pulled my child out of school, now I homeschool him because schools are no longer safe learning and working conditions.

Some of us are professional SREs and Sysadmins, some of us aren't. Some of our instances have been around for 5+ years, some won't be here in six months.

And that's good! All of it, every last bit of it is good.
