While observing most genres of information exchange, one can categorize the individuals who partake into four categories:

1. Producer
2. Harvester
3. Dealer
4. Consumer

Preface: this is a snapshot from a much longer and deeper discussion.

"Only the minority" as stated in "Only the minority of people are taking the leap to simplify their lives to a more slow pace way of living." means that not many people are quitting the fast pace life that technological advances provide and moving to more slow pace lifestyle like on a homestead.

It could be that people do not know that there is a slow paced option and/or do not know the harms that come out of a fast pace lifestyle. Thus, those of us who have achieved harmony among the two lifestyles should at least lead by example.

Was just laughing thinking about my grandmother. She rarely left her house, but had "telephone friends" as she called them. They never left their respective houses, they never hung out or did anything together...just talked to each other on the phone.

We lived in rural Texas. We had a party line phone.

I laugh because I ALSO have "phone friends". I talk to you all...on my phone. We don't hang out or do anything together.

Lmao. The more things change...the more they stay the same.

A friend shared a link to an #Instagram post. I do not have an Instagram account. Instagram now appears to just redirect to a random popular post. I navigated to her link six times and got five different unrelated posts.

If you're a creative or a business, I am begging you, please just post everything to a damned blog or something so your customers can find it without having to join an invasive third-party service. At least, open a private tab and see how much of your social media effort is even visible.

@freeschool

There is a lot to dissolve or explain here. Thus I am going to open up new threads for each of your points made.

These recordings then would be transformed to text using . That way the private information can be removed without spending too much time editing the audio files directly.

Further, additional information can be easily added. This would then be converted back to audio using . Before being finally published on .

The main way that I evaluate specifically is by taking a after each chapter, section, or idea.

I have noticed that with books, I can easily listen to them at twice the speed. On the other hand, books need to be listened to at normal speed.

Actuvity and Job to people + Boy and Toys (AI / Cars but dirty underneath)

@freeschool

There is this tendency of taking technological luxuries as granted and then hypocritically saying that life would be so much better if xyz didn't exist. Only the minority of people are taking the leap to simplify their lives to a more slow pace way of living.

Considering that we are using one of these technological advances and then being frustrated that asynchronous communication is not happening fast enough is just ironic (hint hint ;P).

If a technology will be good or bad; only time will tell. Some technologies like NFT might have been just too early for release, similar to how the Google Glass was way ahead of its time.

Life without AI is still currently possible and most professions won't even need it to be performant. There is only a small fraction of professions that can be more performant using AI and most of them coincide in the STEM field.

Asking anyone in the STEM field who has started using AI to stop, is like going back a decade or two and asking them to stop use a search engine. Sure, one could have (back then) gone to the library, skim read through multiple books to find that one piece of information, but realistically speaking, why!?

Any technological shift can be daunting in the beginning, though as long as it creates more independence and variety in the long run, I welcome it over shunning it out.

It is true that each new technology carries its dark side with it and it should not be avoided and/or ignored.

The current two dark sides of AI that I see: 1. the amount of hardware and/or energy it costs to create AI models, and 2. assimilating AI with an all-knowing being or the only point of truth.

As long as one is informed with the faults of a technology, I don't see any reason why not to use it as long as it follows one's own moral compass.

Now that these factors are known, one gets start building the params' structure. The easiest is to have a param for the form id and an array of items for the store catalogue.

Each item of the array has a key, a value, and a image.

Further one can setup special params for the other table variables, though from brief comparison over three separate forms, they seem to stay constant.

This approach sounds quite good on paper, but carts don't work so simplistically.

Although this might sound like a headache initially, in the long run it is quite beneficial.

The paypal cart or form has a couple values which are important.

The main one is the form id. This exists in either case of purchasing an item from a single button or from a dropdown.

In the case of a dropdown selection, then the keys and values of the table cells are important.

The initial partial that is created is a button for .

This is done by saving a `paypal` param in the meta data of the article and then injected as an anchor tag onto the button.

The styling of the button is saved in a custom header partial that the theme provides.

To inject custom in , one will either need to activate it in the config

```
unsafe = true
```

or pipe the string with `safeHTML`.

Working together / Exchange > TANGENT = #STEM #Stereotypes #SomethingNotQuiteRight

@freeschool The analytical thought process that is typical used in STEM should not be put on fault onto a topic that has an umwelt factor connected to it.

In every field/branch if life, there will be those who do what their are told and only work when they are told like a soldier. Then you have those wallflowers who are hired, but one doesn't really know who they are. Then there is the class clown, they are loud and obnoxious and seem like they know everything, though usually don't. Then you have the go getters, they go beyond their job description. And many more stereotypical positions in a group dynamic.

What fascinates me is how many individuals just clock in and clock out everyday at their job and don't progress their learning at home with side projects or reading the content or any content to better oneself.

The luxury of complacency will be the downfall of societies. This is what I assume you are frustrated about.

This could be explained away with "what was your motivation to get out of bed today and do what you did?"

Another factor is how many daily responsibilities do you have? Are you only caring for yourself or are you the primary care giver in your household?

I can completely understand anyone who says that they are full to the brim of responsibilities and are not willing to hand out any more energy towards the betterment of human kind. I can also completely understand the personal selfishness of doing the absolute minimum to keep oneself or one's family afloat.

In the end it is a combination of one's umwelt, one's upbringing, and one's responsibilities if one is willing to do anything for the betterment of human kind.

Agree... but overally too much now all on top of each other... and as I see war based originall or eventually as it's not in our hands...

@freeschool

In the end, AI is just a new flavour of cherry picked statistical models.

@freeschool

In the developer world there is a movement from IDE (integrated development environment, mainstream) to PDE (personal development environment) and lots of AI models permit this transition also.

There exist guides on how to setup an AI that is trained off the data you provide and can completely run offline.

Thus with such a setup, one is the architect and consumer at the same time.

And the benefit with AI is that one would save the time to compile all the information into a format that one values.

Some of the guides that I have seen, one can asked where this info is sourced from and it will tell you the exact files and lines.

Working together, Matching Wants / Wishlists, Payments and 'occasioal' Exchanges...

@freeschool

Like you state one would have to test it to get the most accurate response of how any group of individuals would react.

Pinning the wish list is a good ad hoc solution and having it on a secondary site as a backup or primary is also not bad.

The main place where I have seen wishlists is among streamers, thus there might be much lead way until the first items are brought into existence. Unless one already has a big fan community.

One could start doing an analytical evaluation of seeing how many reactions one gets onto one's own content.

It will definitely be much work to see any valuable results under our small (combined) followers.

From personal experience participating in many ideas, one will need a leader who is 110% behind the idea and constantly motivate the other members to continue progress towards the incentive.

There are two main downfalls: 1. taking too long to start creating the product, and 2. wasting too much energy building something the customer doesn't want.

Although such downfalls exist, an okay result would to create new friendships that break the confines of the project or realm.
