@bibliolater the section on the White Sands - the critical comments and the rejoinders. Sharing the process of science was refreshing. It also got me thinking about Knut Fladmarks hypothesis and an article by Ruth Gruhn “Linguistic Evidence in Support of the Coastal Route…” that I read in the early ‘90s. There was a lot of pushback in non-orthodox views of the peopling of the Americas. This article also pushed the boundaries - at least opened up the possibility of a much earlier date.
