@bibliolater the section on the White Sands - the critical comments and the rejoinders. Sharing the process of science was refreshing. It also got me thinking about Knut Fladmarks hypothesis and an article by Ruth Gruhn โ€œLinguistic Evidence in Support of the Coastal Routeโ€ฆโ€ that I read in the early โ€˜90s. There was a lot of pushback in non-orthodox views of the peopling of the Americas. This article also pushed the boundaries - at least opened up the possibility of a much earlier date.
