🔴 ❓ 📚 I am considering starting a blog where I will post reviews of books that I have read. Do you think the endeavour is advisable? If the answer to that question is yes, what platform do you think is the best to use?

@bibliolater @bookstodon I've done this for years, I love it! Mainly it is for me, but I quite often refer colleagues to specific reviews for work related things or common interests. Traffic is pretty low, and I make no money off it but I haven't really tried ianhopkinson.org.uk/

@ianhopkinson @bookstodon Thank you for commenting. Apart from the Wordpress hosting price are there any other associated costs?

@bibliolater @bookstodon domain name registration I think is about £10 and I might have paid for an SSL certificate - you can probably get all three things as a single package.
